Every time the doorbell rings, you get a Tony POV shot. On the final ring, you still get Tony's POV but it's black. Sweaty dude put a bullet in his brain pan. Here ends my contractually obligated explanation of The Sopranos' ending whenever it's mentioned.

The credits mention Nancy Marchand. I believe she died during season two (maybe three).

Neat video, but ...

You know what? I was going to be snarky (about the timeliness) but won't.

This is a neat video and I appreciate the work that went into it.

Exactly.

And that is the problem with 99% of what passes for "funny" these days.

That wasn't terrible, but wouldn't it have been simpler to do this with GTA IV? Since it is set in a fictional version of NYC and New Jersey, where the Sopranos was actually filmed? Just wondering.

Pretty cool. I love to see the things people can make with a game they're given. Can't wait to see what kind of crazy shiat comes out of the PC version of GTAV.

Descriptions like this make me feel really bad for A3.

Hey.. .We have a semi-successful song! And some show wants to use it?

Oh HBO? Meh .. why not.

Me too.

'Cos the righteous truth is, there ain't nothing worse than some fool lying on some Third World beach wearing spandex, psychedelic trousers, smoking damn dope pretending he gettin' consciousness expansion. I want consciousness expansion, I go to my local tabernacle an' I sing with the brothers and sisters!

I can't take credit, but it does clearly state my own attitude toward the ridiculously stupid number of "mash-ups" and other lame "hey look you recognize this thing but it's in a different context" videos, artwork, and other media on the Internet.

Up next; The Sopranos as Disney Princesses.

Don't they have a Disney Princesses as Game of Thrones characters or something on the internets somewhere too.  I swear I rolled my eyes at that recently.

Well, some. I should've said high school. :)  But still seriously dated. The start of Regan's second term is closer to the initial airing than today. The series was already feeling a bit long in the tooth when 9/11 happened.

This was how the first episode started! http://youtu.be/JzUQaD0bfRo?t=30s

Clearly you don't know Alabama 3 (the 3 is for 303). The band is from London. What they do is parody southern hillbilly/country/gospel music, with some Roland instrumentation for sweetener. And they do it very well.

On a barely related note, the bafflingly anachronistic and incongruous theme to Boardwalk Empire is a twenty-year-old song by The Brian Jonestown Massacre, who are awesome.

My sister lived in Betty for years. Going up there from the South made me realize how much nicer people are in the South. Betty is a cesspool of angry, rude people.

I bought that album on a whim many years ago (way before the Sopranos) and it became the wife and I's go-to road trip CD, don't know how many times we've listened to it. I realized after a while that they've made more albums but I'm afraid to listen to them and ruin the excellence of the first.
