When detectives asked him his name, he told them, "Pterodactyl," according to The Ledger.

It might be one of those Lego Tasers that don't do shiat, much like the damn Lego cops that seem to never be around when you need them.

During the course of the subsequent chase he splashed water on an officer.

Wow. You can get a battery charge for anything these days.

Legaland is in the middle of farking nowhere. I once took a shortcut on my way from Orlando to Naples, and about halfway, in the middle of cow pastures and trailer parks, I passed Legoland. It's seriously out of the way of everything...

Pretty damn unimaginative headline, subby.

Have you figured out when the mods are desperate for new material?

I think subby figured out mods are green lighting incorrect headlines today. Third one since midnight that's wrong.

The guy was drunk. It's just the festival of made up bullshiat charges that gets me. It's not about safety of the public any more, it's about how much of a dick you can be and be justified. I swear, cop recruitment should be along the lines of advertising inches to your peener.

Sounds like someones been arrested.

Legoland usually does not allow in adults, unless accompanied by a child.  For just this reason.  They freak out and start acting like drunk sociopaths.  (The adults, I mean.  Kids always act that way.)

They should have forced him to ride that terrible "Flying School" roller coaster.

If you grab your kids and shake them, you can go to jail, but you can put them on that coaster and get away with it.

He now faces charges of battery on a law enforcement officer, splashing water on a deputy, disorderly conduct and resisting officers without violence.

Is that really a specific charge?  Whiskey Tango Foxtrot

They filed a grievance to have to the time paid at scale. Nobody gets paid by the minute in a union shop per the last letter of understanding.

FTFA: Richard Campagna was chased through the water park in an incident that lasted around 30 minutes.

"He now faces charges of splashing water on a deputy"

Is there really a law that specifies it is illegal to splash water on a deputy or is this article making shiat up?

Actually, I got another comment about the same line.

"He now faces charges of battery on a law enforcement officer, splashing water on a deputy, disorderly conduct and resisting officers without violence. "

Pretty sure that alone should be illegal and land the cops in jail. They're obviously lying about one of those two.

It should've said "battery on a law enforcement officer for splashing water on a deputy"

Cops be like "shiat, now I have to look up pterodactyl for my report".
