I'm just curious, how majorly racist does someone have to get to actually get censored on Fark? I've seen comments in the politics that were ridiculously white supremacist and anti black, without any pretense of veiling it.

Also interesting to note from the Wikipedia article:
"Men who survive may be able to transmit the disease sexually for nearly two months."

If this makes it to Europe or North America we'll be boned from the boning.

Its not a meme, pure democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner, a republic is the same thing only dinner is limited to the vegetarian menu under the constitution...

Maybe it mutated just enough to be just a little bit less deadly and not be so obvious in its contagious stage. Ebola outbreaks never went far in the past because it tended to kill you before you could get too far from where you got it. If it weakened just a little bit you might be able go farther and infect more people. That's a "lot" scary if you ask me.

Jan:
Was reading Agenda 21 the other night regarding depopulation. There was a speaker at a meeting saying that AIDS doesn't kill fast enough, H1N1, doesn't spread fast enough, and what they need is an aerosol form of Ebola because it kills within days. I also read recently where the "healthcare workers" have fled the Ebola area because it was spreading rapidly. It makes me wonder if these workers have accomplished this aerosol form. I have become very untrusting of my lying government.

Dutch S. > Jan
Why? What, specifically have you ever personally experienced (as opposed to being told or reading it on line) to make you feel this way? Because I keep asking conspiracy believers this question, and not once has anyone had a personal experience to justify their paranoia.

JamesPiekko1 > Dutch S.
Because Obama is fearing impeachment so he will do anything to get Benghazi out of the MSM news cycle and make way for the NWO led by Soros and the UN. What is going on in Africa is nothing but field work for it to come to the rest of the world.

Loren: orclover: 25% mortality rate? Hardly seems worth the fuss honestly.

25%?? Sure this is Ebola?

"There have been 99 Ebola deaths in Sierra Leone out of 315 laboratory-confirmed cases, the ministry said in an e-mailed statement today. The ministry said yesterday that 92 people had died out of 305 cases. Cases of the hemorrhagic fever have killed more than 540 people in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia in an outbreak that according to the World Health Organization may last another three to four months.

"The toll is greater than the 280 people killed in 1976, when the virus was first identified near the Ebola River in what is now the Democratic Republic of Congo. The rapid spread of the virus is largely due to people moving across borders as well as cultural practices that are contrary to public health guidelines, such as people touching the body of a deceased relative before the funeral."

That is about 30%. Last report I read about the virology said it was likely Ebola Zaire

I've been sort of following this story as its developed. There are a couple of things that are different. There is a lot more distrust than usual. People who have symptoms don't want to go where all the dying people are. Or, people with symptoms are being hid by villagers due to just general mistrust (you brought this plague to us!).

The political situation both locally, where its occurring, and world wide has not received the attention its deserved. It's probably too late now. (Doctors w/o Boarders has been screaming for several months for help from WHO. In some cases, they've even been attacked).

Not that these people are looking for things to make sense, but this makes no sense. Killing quickly is a GOOD thing. The quicker it kills, the less opportunity it has to spread.

The saving grace of Ebola is that it does kill as quickly as it does, and that infected people tend to look really icky really quickly.

But like I said, making sense is pretty low on the list of things conspiracy nutters require of their pet theories.
