I nominate the town of Scotrun, Pennsylvania, if only because at 2am while driving along Route 80, the
name on the sign for the exit is easly mistaken for "Scrotum".

I can't believe I've never been to Beaver Crossing, Nebraska.

The place I really want to go to is Shag Island, Indiana. That's gotta be a good sign, right?

Is it a safari thing or is there some way to get the placards a little more room so they're not all stacked on top of each other.  My inner 10 year old wants to go to more than must Mianus, CT in the New England area.

If you drive down US 42 through Union, KY... near Big Bone Lick... you will pass through an area called "Beaver Lick, KY".  I'm proud to say that these two places... brought up in an Innocent discussion at work... basically got me fired...??

Yep. Fark Filters strike again. Also stole the capital "S"

2014-07-11 04:33:21 PM
List succeeds with "Scoonthorpe", the town that gets caught in stupid filters like Fark's.

Seriously: you ever notice you can say coño, merde, and even sūdi mīzt izdrāzt vāveri and no one gives a hovno. But you bust out shiat or coont and the filters all go nuts.

Bunch of Anglo-centric svinja seronje, if you ask me.

Well, you can rent the Sex Peak Lookout in MT for a romantic evening. Bonus: it's in the Kootenai National Forest, which looks slightly suspicious at first glance as well.

Yup, they got my favorite X-Com base locations.

In the old-school "X-COM: UFO Defense", you'd have to place your bases such that the radius of each base's radar covered as much inhabited land as possible.

My South American X-COM base was "XCOM Titicaca", Southeast Asian was covered by "XCOM Phuket", the African base was "XCOM Dongo", and the European one was "XCOM Titz" (even though it was actually between Stuttgart, Munich, and Nuremberg).

I didn't have any good locations for the North American one, which was stuck somewhere in central Canada and was called "XCOM YuKON", and the Siberian one, which was just "XCOM Siberia".

And let's not forgot one of the main routes in the state: 69 all the way into Marion.
