i saw night ranger in 2012 and they seriously blew the roof off the place, easily one of the best rock shows i've been to in the past decade. i had no idea they were still pumping energy like that into crowds.

I find that older hair bands tend to have more energy than younger bands in general. Maybe they have to work to prove they still got it or maybe that music is about partying and having fun without all the emo shiat.

Saw Night Ranger a few months back (with Loverboy). Fun show. Saw Ringo last week in the same venue. Also a fun show. Lots of older musicians are still quite good.

For years I thought the line they sang in Sister Christian was "You're Motorhead" instead of "You're Motorin'"

I had a friend that thought the song was about nuns selling drugs to kids. That does make the song seem a lot more awesome.

My co-worker sings that line on purpose whenever he hears Motorhead mentioned... makes me want to smack him in the head.

Why does Doc Ock need a gun?  The funny thing about the user name is the movie is less obscure, but I doubt most could pull the character name even though they've seen the movie a few times.

I saw them at a festival in '84, sandwiched in between Accept (who sucked) and Motley Crue (who weren't great) and in comparison were very tight and polished. Their music was kinda standard radio friendly lite-metal type stuff, nothing exceptional, but they played it well.

Not all of us in high school/college in 1982 exclaimed "Sweet!" when we heard news of a new Night Ranger album, but to each his own.

Indeed - there was much better music that came out in 1982.

Back in the '90s, I went on a date with a girl I worked with. We got a little dinner, rented "Boogie Nights," went back to her place, had a few drinks, and put on the movie, only to (not unexpectedly) start fooling around instead. After a couple of rounds of the ol' in-and-out, we both kind of nodded off. I woke up during this part of the movie. I was a bit groggy and briefly confused about where I was and who this naked girl wrapped around me was, and watching this scene, disorienting as it is itself and completely out of context, didn't help things at all.

I disagree and like everything on that list excepting Combat Rock but only because it was a little over played.
