Red & gold lilies out by the lane. These resized by ~half.  We also got yellow ones close to the house. valnt9, tnx for reminding me of bachelor buttons for the blue, which I'd forgotten. Knew that when a kid, lifetime ago.  CLTD said he thought they're chicory.

Mouse pop up cat toy from PCH, $12 + usual excessive s&h. Considering it's BOGO, if one has 2 cats it might  be worthwhile, but doubt one can return it if one's owners don't like either of them.  Besides, it's funny lookin' with that snakey mouse support.

Drink a glass of ice water after every two beers, it will help cool you down and also keep you hydrated. Being dehydrated is what makes a hangover worse than it has to be.
I'm drinking gin and gin with olives since I have no tonic. ;-)

I acquired about 10 lbs today.

Dang!  And I thought I had a bumper crop!  Still, rather impressive haul for just one bush that I carelessly tossed in the yard about 8 years ago... Im pleased.

I was in no way intending to suggest that 4lbs isn't a good haul :) Especially from a single bush! I made a day trip to a blueberry farm this AM so my excuse is that there were bajillions (a very technical term) available to me -- dozens, nay, hundreds of bushes, blue haze over about an acre of south Georgia sunny field. Yoiks, it was HOT.

I've got a 50KV (current limited) neon sign transformer wired to the lock on the garage door just in case, but most of their dirty work is done from a distance with eggs, lemons, large rocks, bricks, etc. I love the extra button on the garage door remote that closes relay contacts. I use that to power the solid state relay that turns on and off the high voltage. I've only been bit once and yeah, it hurt. ;-)
