FTA: "...13 arrests for those accused of wanting to have sex with who they believed were underage boys and girls."

That's how thought crimes get started. Find a thought that everybody thinks should be illegal. Expand it to everything once precedent has been set.

I think it's a farce and entrapment but try convincing enough people to change any politician's mind on this issue.

How many Catholic priests have been arrested?

When are RICO charges being filed against he church for conspiring to shelter accused criminals by relocating them overseas?

There are a few lawyers, and a group of cops up in Tennessee that like to take pics of underage cock that these guys should setup a sting on.

"Some have not gotten the message," Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd told the station.  "We are going to continue to conduct these investigation to protect our children from sexual predators and from those who trade and download child pornography."

While I do understand the efforts, sane folks understand having romantic and/or physical relationships with humans who have not yet reached adulthood, which is relayed via both appearance and behaviors, is disturbing. Maybe we ought not to see this as a criminal element but a mental health issue? Employ police resources to find them, yes, but I do not know what prison sentences will deter them from. Society should invest to assure those who have such urges recognize the positive aspects of seeking treatment. We do not yet have a cure, but we certainly have means to mitigate these urges.

It's hysteria about "the children" again. More entrapment.

All the hysteria about human trafficking? What the fu😈ck do you call 50,000 under-18s on our border who have been raped and molested by coyotes? And now our border control is going to run day care centers instead of guarding the border?

And don't forget kiddie porn. The 17 year old who the police are going to take to the hospital to get an erection injection so they can arrest him for sexting to his girlfriend and that's underage kiddie porn? Did they forget to arrest the GIRLFRIEND for sexting and therefore creating kiddie porn?

I'm going to throw up about how the land of the free and the home of the brave has turned into ..... someone please finish my sentence for me.

He'll only be happy if the suspects in question are allowed to finish molesting an actual 13-year old boy or girl, thus proving they ACTUALLY were intending to molest an underage child. Then we'd know for sure they really were criminals and not just thinking about it.

It just kinda weirds me out that somebody is on a computer 40 hours a week acting as a young boy or girl talking to these pervs. That would be a very disturbing job.

Having held all kinds of shiat jobs to pay the rent, I can safely say I would not bat an eyelash to playing the role of jailbait to catch criminals if it meant a nice paycheck every 2 weeks.

We have to stop sending taxpayer dollars on warehousing citizens in jails. Give me all the pedophiles and some construction workers and a few thousand tons of mill stones. We'll set up Wheels of Pain, and use them to grind flour, or not. Whatever.

Pro: The pedos will pay for their own room and board with mill labor.

Con: Those who don't die will become beefy like Conan.

Another Pro: Gladiator sports would be viable in 3-5 years.

Another Con: Probably unconstitutional to force prisoners to fight.

Ultimate Pro: Probably only need to change state law to allow prisoners to volunteer for gladiator training.

So basically a plan to turn convicts into really really strong convicts.

Or in other words, what we've already got... plus Pay-Per-View events.

Pay per view? No way. It would be free to watch.

The money would be in letting normies pay to fight trained convict gladiators. We'd have to rubberize the swords and spears, probably, but y'know they could still hurt like a nasti møøse bite.

Also, it's basically impossible for me to find stoneground flour for a reasonable price. If I have to move across the world and become Thulsa Doom to get a damn kilogram of decent flour at a reasonable price, well that's just a condemnation of a certain nation's geography, really. 2% arrable land or something. Surprised the can even grow enough rice, really.

And thus encourage another 50,000 trafficked children. And another 100,000. These will be trafficked kids. No they can't give them back to the coyotes. But this is the unintended consequences of breaking your own laws with the misguided "Dream Act". And 0bama still talks about "the dreamers". God save us.

Authorities should find a worldly and intelligent 12-13-year-olds, give them several weeks of pre-trauma training against the degradation of sexual abuse, then, with the kids steeled against the onslaught, send them out to actually be molested. A little bit. THEN you'd get the solid convictions.

(Is there such a thing as "pre-trauma training," by the way? For any adult who, it is reasonably certain, will have to witness emotionally disturbing sights or accounts of things in their line of work.)

Military and hospital work. But to be perfectly honest, there's no such thing as 'pre-trauma training'. Soldiers and other workers who go into their field of work despite knowing well ahead of time they're going to see and experience some very disturbing things still come back damaged.

Some ITGs like to say, "Then you should get out of that field of work if you can't deal with it, princess." but it really affects even the strongest of us.

Has anyone ever run the numbers on how many of these people caught in sting operations have actually ever done the deed vs those who haven't?  I'm just curious because it would seem to me that hardcore predators with real world experience would be a lot more cautious knowing these stings are being run.  I believe the bigger threat is the experienced predators who run solid networks with members in positions of power who do everything possible to make sure their exploits run uninterrupted.

What the fark is the charge "traveling to meet after using a computer to lure a child".  Unless this is some inter-state thing that makes it a federal case, I fail to see what is chargeable about the travelling part.  I mean, the guys are breaking the law chatting on the computer, and intend to break the law when they get there, but the traveling part is the only time they're NOT breaking the law, isn't it???

I've never quite understood why our local media always headlines "Disney worker arrested for <Fill in the blank>."  Disney employs about 62,000 people in Orlando.  I'm reasonably certain not every one of them is a saint at all times.  I mean, is Disney supposed to make their people take special vows when it hires them to minimum wage, part time jobs?

I read it the first time thanks. You do know the police don't have vans with anttenae that let them read everyone's inner thoughts and desires? That's still firmly in the camp of sci-fi dystopia?

These guys said and did things that crossed the line from mere desire into trying to make it happen.

Sorry if aisle 8 didn't have enough foil for you. Maybe try CostCo.
