Same. First thing I thought of. Always wanted one of those but had to settle for the Big Wheel.

I remember when this was happening.  It was a real big deal for a kid in his early teens.  Yeah, I'm old.

Art Arfons a man who just wanted to go faster. Shame about what happened to his son though.

I had a Big Wheel too.  My sister had a Hot Cycle.  One kid on our block had the Green Machine.  It was a biatch to race against because the back end was so wide you couldn't pass on the sidewalk.

Arfons was all over with that thing in the 60s. I saw it at the Fremont drags back in the day. Slow off the line but fast at the finish and so damn loud it would shake the enamel off your teeth. The thing at Fremont was to get it to drag one of the other jets, like Untouchable. Bring a fresh set for that race, man.

You know, I liked that one as well. I found the whole thing quite sad.

After not having seen that movie since taking Junior to see it in the theater when it came out, I recently watched it courtesy of Netflix. Whoa...what a low budget cheese ball production (and I mean that in a kind hearted way). :)

The graphics were state of the art [for the time].

Your smartphone now has more processing power than that entire movie had.
