What? No autism?

Seriously, though, here's another great reason to have your kids up-to-date on their immunizations: unexpected influx of infected children.

Can we, as a nation, show a shred of compassion? These are innocent kids whose only crime is being born to parents too destitute to care for them. If you have kids, put yourself in their parent's shoes. They only want their kids not to suffer as they have.

I don't understand why we don't have a "no man's land" zone that extends a certain distance inside our borders. Line the entire border with a wall (great wall of Murrica?) that is armed with Phalanx-style automatic machine guns that kill anything that crosses a certain line. All you need is a line farther out that triggers a multilingual warning message to turn back or die.

Invading a country is an act of war, and it should be treated as such.

We could also cover the area with land mines. I'm actually serious. I don't know all of the laws over here about such things, but I have a pretty strong feeling you would take a bullet if you tried hopping the border in Russia or China.

Yeah, their situation sucks.  But that doesn't mean it has to be our problem.  We have enough problems in this country already.  We don't have the money or resources to be the world's destination for people with unlucky situations.

Maybe the kid's parents should have thought ahead and not had children they can't afford.  We need to cure the disease, not put on 50,000+ band-aids to cover the symptoms.

/ 365 days in a year * 20 fertile years * $0.15 per condom = $1095 for a lifetime of condoms for the kids mom

Been a lot of folks here in Oklahoma biatching about the kids being housed at fort sill. The same talk has come up about diseases running rampant. Even had a state senator get all worked up and start talking about first amendment violations because the base invited the media but has restricted recording devices.

On a side note is there truth to the story about the UN wanting the USA to grant refugee status to the children effectively giving them a four in the door to getting citizenship? Or is this just another one of those forwarded stories my older Fox news watching relatives like to self me?

No you don't.  You don't know shiat about me if you think I'm not seriously behind this.

We have enough soldiers coming home from the middle east.  They could man the entire border.  We need to fortify, and there are plenty of other things they could do along the border.  There are strategic reasons for building more military bases down there.  We already blow WAY too much money on stupid military operations that would be better spent back home.

There are plenty of civilian jobs that would be created for the construction project.  It would be a better use of the money than the F-35.  It would also lower the stress of having to support more and more illegal immigrants.

I'm also all for kicking out all of the illegals already in the country and for changing our citizenship laws so that children born here keep the citizenship of the parent(s).  If you want to become a U.S. citizen, then go through the proper process.  I have plenty of friends who have done just that, and I feel it is an injustice to them to give others a free pass.

Actually, now that I think about it, we could put the existing illegals to work building the wall.  It could even be used as a path to citizenship.  Work on the wall to earn citizenship.

I don't have time to explain America's rather interesting banana republic relationship with Central America.

In short, we caused a lot of these problems, primarily so Americans could eat bananas and the people who lived there could live in poverty. so you could have cheap bananas. they did it all for you.
