Identity theft is about to get REAL. Some think, and many stories were written on the premise, that "we" are nothing but our collected memories.

Now, let's store them in small devices. You wear the devices in the article. Why not make them wireless? Why not make a mesh network of them? Why not go further and have collaborative thinking/processing (imagine map/reduce functions for life problems)?

Because of the f*cking Borg, and every other Sci Fi story in existence.
