6/18 - do I/should I care?  Who is this bloke - too lazy to look up. Film critic I assume.

6/18 for me as well, but after I got Blue velvet wrong I remembered his review of it.

Ambivalence: Didn't...he...die?

Did you not read the intro? There's a new documentary out about him called Life Itself that's supposed to be very good.

11/18, but damn if this quiz didn't just turn into "let me pick the opposite of what common sense dictates" halfway through it.

Some are obvious - you're only going to cherry pick "Monkey Trouble" to show what you consider a questionable thumbs up.  I have to admit I'm shocked they didn't pull out "Knowing."

At least Ebert was the kind of critic who would go back later and admit when he was wrong.  He didn't undo every questionable decision, of course, but at least he was able to keep his ego in check (it's not like Armond White is ever gonna say "y'know, maybe Toy Story 3 wasn't an emotionally empty blowjob of American consumerism after all.")

Apparently, I'm the Anti-Ebert.

That quiz just reinforced why I couldn't give a farking shiat what any movie critic has to say.
