As a USC alum, I'm getting a kick out of this headline.  And you all will get over it.

He should get a spot in the College Hall of Fame at some point as well. He did a hell of a job turning that program back around.

Trojan Hall of Fame? That's nothing. I'll be impressed when he gets the Wilt Chamberlain lifetime achievement award.

As he should. The USC fans that are still mad are so stupid.

"Oh no, this guy took us from mediocrity to the only team who ever had a chance to prevent the SEC from winning every year, then when he left, we still had a way better team than we did before he started!"

I'm not a huge fan, but he obviously knows what he's doing.

After briefly meeting Reggie Bush (short version: I knew people who played at Helix with him) and talking football for a minute he seemed to have a real genuine respect for him.

Between that and him donkey-whipping Peyton in the Superb Owl, I can't dislike Carroll.

Easy to win when you're paying players off, SMU in the 80s is a good example of that.

Not like I'm naive to think they were the only ones but they were the most blatant and deserved to get caught.

If you weren't allowed to honor coaches who got caught paying off players, you'd honor very few coaches.
