I got the feeling, after this match, this World Cup will not be remembered because of him.

So it seems that losing Neymar to injury broke Brazil's back.

/Window seat.

This.

The worse Brazil has ever lost to any opponent has been 3. We're seeing some epic karmic backlash here.

They said on Univision that Brazil got their nuts kicked 6-0 against Uruguay in 1920 in Viña del Mar, Chile.

Well after that fiasco, no one's gonna remember any crappy officiating. Congratulations Brazil! May your mashmallows be well toasted in the riots to ensue tonight.

To be fair, nut kicking is an entirely different sport. But I imagine 6-0 is indescribably painful.

I feel sorry for Brazil. The amount of money they spent to host the cup and then to not merely lose but to be humiliated like that must be a bitter pill to swallow. It's hard to believe that losing one player made all the difference, no matter how good that player is.

Their goalie is going to have to leave Brazil and seek asylum in Europe somewhere.

But it wasn't just the goalie. They played defense the way the USA played offense. There was goal where the guy from Brazil was standing mid-field and the German fellow snuck up, stole the ball, and two passes later it's in the net! That has nothing to do with the poor goalie. Brazil was befuddled and lost out there...as a team.

They stand a decent chance of facing Argentina in the 3rd place game.  If so that would be epic.

Friend of mine was watching the game with his son. Older son comes downstairs and asks why they are playing FIFA instead of watching the game. Unreal score line

Still doesn't change the statistic. They weren't talking about just the World Cup. They were talking about Brazil's entire history.

I'd bet a lot of people didn't see it until the replays.

Does Canada work for you? Because he already plays for Toronto FC, so he could just stay there.

Two.  Neymar was out with a broken back, and Thiago Silva was out on prior yellow cards.

If your whole team collapses because two players are out, that's just pathetic.

Steve McManaman was losing his shiat watching Brazil play defense; just dumbfounded.  A lot of people were saying that Brazil was not a very deep team, and today showed it.

/ what's the over/under on the number of headlines with the word blitzkrieg in it?

Chile beat Brazil 4-0 at a Copa America in the 80s. Two goals by Basay and two by Letelier. It was glorious.

Then a few years later the whole Condor Rojas flare snafu happened and it was bannination time.

They lost to Yugoslavia once 8-4 too.
