Anita: You come home, you order out food... and then you'll play those stupid Bill Murray movies until 3 in the morning.

Jaybeezey: Bill Murray is going to be dead and you're going to say, "I've been watching him for years, he's fabulous."

I was a young, impressionable kid when I first saw Meatballs, and it inspired me.  Not long afterwards my 8th grade class had a dance at some weekend retreat each class was forced to attend annually.  I entered the gym in which the dance was held with all the confidence of Tripper and proudly proclaimed, "Virgins to the left, non-virgins to the right."  The final word had barely escaped my mouth before one of the nuns was dragging me away by my shirt collar.

Love that film. Every time I watch it, for the next week I have the taste for Sweet Lime. If you know what I mean..... And I think you do.

Getting paid for bit parts to score free vacations to exotic locales is a very old Hollywood tradition.

I will go on record and say that watching that film as a teen changed a lot of my perspectives on life and allowed me to seek out areas of the world and the mind that never would have occurred to me before.

Twenty-five years later I was on a trip to Paris and sought out the exact stairs at Monte Marte from the end of the film so I could run up them as well.

"We'll see. But, the real excitement, of course, is gonna come at the end of the summer, uh, during Sexual Awareness Week. We import 200 hookers from around the world, and each camper, armed with only a thermos of coffee and $2,000 cash, tries to visit as many countries as he can and the winner, of course, is named King of Sexual Awareness Week and is allowed to rape and pillage the neighboring towns until camp ends."
