So the position of Chuck Todd's panel is that the Senate passed immigration reform, Obama said he'll sign it, but Boehner is refusing to bring it to a vote in the House, therefore Obama is incompetent. Do they get paid for coming up with this stuff?

You'd think reminding people of their party's historic failures over and over again in lame attempts to pin something on Obama would get old at some point.

Meh, everyone needs a hobby I guess.

That headline gave me a headache. Obama's Katrina is that he doesn't have the balls to stand up to the right winger racists whining about "securing the border" when the problem is a humanitarian crisis of refugees fleeing Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras due to the oppression of drug gangs.

He and Hillary have been on the talk shows advising not to send their kids up here because we will send them right back. What a couple of pussies.

And don't forget the outright drug war in Mexico.

Of course, all of those are fueled by the War on Drugs, so admitting they exist would force Republicans to acknowledge that their actions have consequences.

So...we get your goal of sticking it to the libs and therefore half the country as well as hamstringing our leader. How convenient that you mention THAT but FAIL to answer what good is the hamstringing and farky left whining to the USA taxpayers. I will listen to an adult non-namecalling answer.

People are such idiots.

"Nixon's Watergate" was a thing because Nixon colluded with a bunch of criminals and felons in covering up a crime that implicated him personally in a conspiracy to obstruct justice and defy a Supreme Court subpoena. It wasn't because there was a scandal and Nixon happened to be president.

"Bush's Katrina" was a thing because Bush had appointed an incredibly unprepared FEMA director who spent a week ignoring a massive crisis, then spent another week wandering vaguely around being insanely counterproductive, and Bush's response rather than removing the director was instead to praise him even as the citizens of New Orleans and Mississippi were dying in the hundreds. It wasn't because there was a crisis and Bush happened to be president.

Do people not get that?

The main reason why there has been no "Obama's Watergate" or "Obama's Katrina" is because only republicans pull that horrible sh*t. Obama's not a republican.

How come we never got to see a "Dubya's New Deal" or ""Reagan's Tennessee Valley Authority"? All republicans ever bring us is death, financial calamity, and despair.

I left that out, so thanks for bringing it up. All of our so-called leaders are pussies for failing to acknowledge the War on Drugs debacle. Remember that the next time some assf*ck running for president says he will change things. They won't, because as soon as they get elected they are read the riot act by the NSA and other "powers that be."

I hate to go all conspiracy theory, but it's the truth. The American president is a gutless, spineless coward.

Let's not quibble if half the country or more than half the country is shiatted on by a policy of sticking it to the libs. Let's see if ballsack can give any coherent response as to how such actions benefits any USA taxpayers.

When Clinton lost the House and Senate, things went fine. Having the same thing happen this time around would make things much easier, in my opinion in that stuff could actually get done.

The Fox News/RW media crowd don't get it because from the instant Obama took office everything that happened anywhere was immediately a scandal for Obama personally.

Goes on a vacation? Scandal for Obama.
Gets a puppy? Scandal for Obama.
Ambassador gets killed in a war torn land? Scandal for Obama.
Republican obstructionism turns Congress into a do-nothing gridlocked hot mess? Scandal for Obama.
A bunch of kids from lands torn apart by Drug Wars shows up on doorstep? Scandal for Obama.

Hell, when OBL got taken down they tried to make it "Bad News for Obama" by criticizing him for taking all the credit for it which he patently did not do.

In short they aren't idiots per se.

They are simple minded as a rule true, but mostly they are easily led rubes who have been massively misinformed by a carefully crafted 95% BS narrative that they have become emotionally addicted to.

You're mom and I had a great weekend in Vegas. Sorry we spent your inheritance, son.

Kevin72: And you want Central American families to get their kids trafficked and raped by coyotes? For what?

What myself and many others want is to fix the problem at the core - the stupid drug laws that provide all the money to those coyotes. What you want is to build a huge wall along the border to isolate us from our neighbors.

And then you will advocate for more foreign wars, interventionism, hegemony, and outright illegal policy to justify your stupid point of view saying Isolationism doesn't work, and arguing both sides of the coin as if nobody is paying attention to your little scam.
