I know rigged matches suck, but really, if there's any justice in the world, the Argentines need to beat their smug Dutch asses.  No non-Dutchman really wants to see them win anything.

Don't f*ck with Krull.

There are plenty of understandable reasons to hate the Dutch, but this isn't one of them. Particularly from Americans, since plenty of our professional athletes in our major sports can't go three seconds without trash-talking in a manner often more demonstrative than what Krul was doing.

Personally, I thought it was bs the way the ref let him approach the keep twice, and then wave him away. He must have said something using a bit stronger language after the second one.

I thought he was put in not only for his reach but for the fact that he could get in the players heads.  Looks like it worked.

Goalkeepers shouldn't be allowed outside of the goal area (6 yard box) during kicks from the mark to determine a match winner.

People get their panties in a bunch.....penalty kicks are majority psychological.  It worked.  End of story.

It's the soccer version of Baseketball.

We boo them, too. When a team decides to be the bad guys only their direct fans are left cheering. Oranje is the new black.

While not my cup of tea, head games are part of any sport, besides, Krul will have to up his game if he wants to compete with , Robben as the most hated Dutch player...

At the end of the day, if you are going to trash talk, you better back it up and Krul did just that....

You don't seem to get it. Fifa is doing its best to prevent a Latin American team from winning it all. It started when Suarez was banned for losing his balance and this latest use of mind reading by the Dutch shows how desperate Fifa is.

And for those that don't believe the Dutch goalie read Los Ticos' minds, watch a replay of the penalties. He goes up to each of the penalty takers to tell them something. What did he say? "I can read your mind and shiat like that."

Don't act like Costa Rica's goalie didn't do the same shiat to Greece. waving his hands around and jumping all over the place as the Greek players approached. If that's ok (and it damn well shouldn't be), then this was ok too.

Banned for "losing his balance???"

Yeah, a serial balance-loser that guy.

Come on.

Why shouldn't it be? It's not like it's hard to make PKs. Goalies should get to do whatever the hell they want to.
