Bryan Cranston clearly owes his role to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

It's funny, my mom has been re-watching L&O on Netflix and I noticed BOTH of the actresses who played the Oracle in the Matrix movies were on it during the same season (pre-Watterston).

Also, this is kinda fun:

The Soap Opera - Star Trek Connection

I thought they already did this article, except it was about the fact that much of the Breaking Bad cast had been on Seinfeld.

Yes, subby, character actors take a lot of jobs.

Some of them were known for their performance art.

how about the series FADES, where Game of Thrones actors practiced dying.

I was watching Lucy: The Daughter of the Devil and noticed a couple of the voice actors are also doing Bob's Burgers.  It is funny how much some of these voice actors get around.

I think H Jon Benjamin has something in his contract that states he must be in at least 50% of all animated shows at any given time.

A huffpo article that links to buzzfeed? The internet just lost 5 iq points, thanks subby.

My mother was a huge Days of Our Lives fan for years, so John DeLance was "Eugene" when he was on Star Trek (or anything else) around the house when I was growing up.

That was cool!

I had forgotten about The Secret Storm, my mom used to watch that.

I was personally surprised they recast the smoking man as Jesse, but what do I know? The success of the X-files and BB speaks for itself. Adding Director Skinner as a neo-nazi was an inspired touch though, way more so than casting the thing as a balding, backstabbing cop.

When Richard Biggs past away, there were such a cross-section of soap stars and science-fiction (including B5) figures.

There's a lot of SF fans who recognize soap stars, and vice versa. The fandoms are first cousins.

Both shows have the same creator, who also created/wrote for a couple other shows Benjamin appears in. A few others, such as Eugene Mirman, Laura Silverman, and Melissa Bardin Galsky, also pop up often.

(Side note: according to IMDB Andy appears on Bob's Burgers once more than Ollie, which is just wrong.)

Isn't there some rule that that there has to be at least one Star Trek: The Next Generation actor on FARK?

There was but Fark is such a classy place they drove him off for good.  And they're proud of it for some reason.
