I love the totally unrelated video content of unrest in Iraq using a still image of two seemingly joy-speckled faces on a page announcing a death.

Which is really the same thing I guess...

You would think he'd rate better than an obit in the Moonie times.

RIP

The man had the type of career I would want for myself. Worked steadily throughout his career. Never was the "Big Star" so never had to deal with the BS. Didn't make the big money. But the money was coming in every year. Probably had a nice life.

Read his IMDb page. Not only worked steady but on the best, most iconic shows. Gunsmoke, Car 54, Adam-12, All in the Family, boy does the list go on.

I also didn't know he did voice work. Starting back in the 60s. He was the voice of my Saturday Mornings too.

RIP

Yeah. Voiceovers as  Clark Kent in the 60s, various Superfriends in the 70s, Commissioner Gordon in the 90s/00s.

That is a long run helping keep DC afloat.

Kinda bums me out. I watched McHale's Navy with my grandfather a lot as a kid. Rediscovered it late last year when the c-section kept me bed bound in the hospital. It was always good for a few chuckles.

Goodbye, Captain Ramsey!  (I was so pissed they assassinated his character by turning him into a criminal!)
