What members of any really famous group ever liked each other?

Funny, the other day the local Oldies station was playing old American Top 40 with Casey Kasem broadcasts, in honor of his death, and I heard him give a bit of trivia about this Hall & Oats song from 1977.  He called it a Klinger song.. Hall knew this out of touch rich guy, and tried to write a song about him.. but it wasn't working out.  So he changed the gender, 'put a dress on it', and we got the song 'Rich Girl'.

Grateful Dead seemed to get along just fine. Same with Rush.

Saw then a couple of weeks ago at Wolf Trap.   Probably the most boring show I've seen there in 10 years.  Their musicianship was fine, there was just no spark.  Listening to a "greatest hits' compilation would have been just as satisfying, and a lot cheaper.

I can't stand either one of them, so I guess it all evens out.

/They both quite like me, so it's awkward.

Milli hated Vanilli. And Led didn't much care for Zeppelin there toward the end, either.

I thought this was old news? I kinda remember hearing something about this long ago.

Pink Floyd got along well once you took Waters out of the equation.

It seems to be on-again off-again for them.  Mostly on-again these days as they've aged and mellowed, and Art needs the reunion money.  Paul SImon has pointed out more than one that they've known each other since they were seven years old, so the relationship is going to have its ups and downs.

Curiously, both Garfunkel and Daryl Hall live in the same area: upstate New York, outside of Woodstock.

So..."we don't hang out when we're not on stage" means "we hate each other." Got it.

There was Fark thread about that very song some weeks ago.

I can't go for that...
