I was one of those in my 20s.

I almost burned my kitchen down twice last week.

It's perfectly OK. Just look at the name: Psycho-not. So no matter how many drugs they take, they're going to be fine. Probably saner than you and I.

Not usually that normal, however.
Basically, this is like the curie family wearing no lead aprons, not knowing the hazards of what they were studying. Sure, it's fun, but you never know whether a simple mix-up or dosage issue is going to spiral into tragedy or a life-long health issue. Probably best left to controlled studies in pharmacology labs...

Speaking of that game. Did anyone else get a heavy, late 90s Nickelodean vibe from that? Did Tim Schaefer ever work for Nick?

If there's ONE game that ever deserved a sequel... it's Psychonauts.

Not that I'm aware of; his games have always had a wacky art style to them. See: Maniac Mansion and Day of the Tentacle. I think He did the Monkey Island series, too.

Legal highs? Remove the legal part of that equation and I've been a "psychonaut" for 25 years and counting.

I have to say that Shulgin probably found many if not most of the interesting ones. We already know which ones are really nice, it's just that they've all been made illegal because somehow tripping is bad? Never had a bad trip myself, a couple with iffy parts but never that bad, so I don't really understand why it's illegal.

Oh yeah, almost forgot he did those. I think a lot of that feeling comes from the voices. I looked it up on IMDB and the guy who did Raz was one of the Angry Beavers (and I thought Zim, too but it wasn't listed) and I'm pretty sure one of the girls was Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls.

Really? Richard Horvitz's work as Zim wasn't listed? How strange. But yes, it is the same guy.

And for once, Tara Strong (voice of Bubbles) was not in something. However, Nika Futterman, aka Olga Pataki, did play several characters.

I want you to take part in a little practical demonstration for me. I want you to find a pen, or some other similarly dimensioned object in the Cheeto-centered detritus surrounding your computer keyboard. Pause the video and get one. Seriously, do it. Don't keep watching waiting to see where I'm going with this just do it. Right, once you've got one, insert it between the second and third fingers of one of your hands, as shown. Now when I'm finished talking, pause the video again and use your other hand to squeeze your fingers inwards towards the pen. You may have noticed that this really farking hurts and that you are now in a great amount of pain. Congratulations, you have just received your punishment for not buying Psychonauts. I'd like to know how you think gaming is ever going to adapt as an art form if people go out of their way to make original games, but farkwits like you never actually buy them because they're too busy inhaling furious amounts of dick.

/ If you did buy Psychonauts, please disregard the preceding

Spaced Lion: Really? Richard Horvitz's work as Zim wasn't listed?

Oh no, I just didn't see it at first. Still, you'd think it'd be in the "Known for" listing ahead of "Crazy Stupid Love."

I just like watching cartoons and things and picking out voices I know.

thankfully I never had a struggle with drugs. But, why do we consider them illegal anyway? Who cares if someone wants to take drugs? I mean, what's the point behind making them illegal?

We must protect people from themselves. I also don't want to see an addict in the street and pity them for a second before not caring again.

The only logical excuse I can conjure is a deliberate Black Market creation for PROFIT.
Recruiting the idiot Nannys was sooo easy.

Or maybe the CIA and other Black Ops are just opportunists.
