Men In Blazers are awesome. That is all.

Buzzfeed has real reporters now?  That was actually a well written article.

The majority of people I work with are British and to a man, they thanked me for turning them on to Univision. They hate those guys.

Really? I'm a Brit and I enjoy Men in Blazers immensely.

They're still a novelty for us. Constant exposure will, I'm sure, cause them to wear thin.

I've loved their coverage and excitement throughout the World Cup.

Invaded? They were invited. Tea was served.

I enjoyed their banter. And as much as they seemed to be rooting for the USA, they definitely didn't sugarcoat the Belgium loss.

But knowing nothing about them they could know as much about soccer as I do. Still fun to listen to, though.

Don't forget the two Mexican men that bought joy to millions this World Cup: Wet Herrera and Dry Herrera.

Not if you're Sports Illustrated, the rest of ESPN, etc. etc. etc. So much of the immediate response was "we fought real hard" or "we really showed we don't quit" or "Tim Howard is great." When clearly, Belgium murdered us.

to be fair i think those all aren't mutually exclusive.  the team somehow didn't quit after not playing the first 90.  timmy was timmy.  but yeah the conclusion should be is that if timmy wasn't there or the waffles could shoot a little better it would have been embarrassing.

It is difficult to quit something which you have never even started. This is the worst USMNT playing its worst match since the 80s. These guys lived up to their coach's pre-cup predictions 100%. They certainly have left a lot of room for improvement from the next set of players and coaches representing the United States.

Hmmm. And here I thought they were idiotic and really annoying. My bad.

And coaches? Kinsman is gonna be here a while

That's perhaps a bit strong. We got out of group and proved that we have some definite talent in the pipeline (i.e. Green, Yedlin). I doubt most US fans are disappointed with this World Cup overall. If they are maybe they should ask the Spanish, English, or Italians whether they should be.

Michael Davies brought Who Wants To Be A Millionaire to the US. He has to do a lot more than be a charming footie fan to pay that off.

When you have people in England saying "we wish our boys played like these Americans," you're winning. I saw quite a few comments along those lines on Tuesday from England.

Should we expect better from the US team? Maybe. But I think the plan was always to build a foundation for 2018 (especially after the group draw) and I think they've done that.

Funny I haven't watched ESPN in about the same amount of time, but then I don't until CFB starts

What if Wondo didn't go full Rooney on that chance in regulation?

Then again, at this point it's all "if your aunt had balls" speculation, mainly because we've had two days without games.

If you're going to play the if game, then if Jozy and Fabian played the result would have been much different.

But the if game is stupid, so I agree with you that they don't have to be mutually exclusive.  Belgium whooped the USMNT, but they didn't quit down 2-0 (most soccer teams would have), and Howard was spectacular.
