Is subby assuming I'll be in a position to remember *anything* when my descendants are running from robots? I mean, if I'm still alive, *I'll* be busy running, won't I?

Is the assumption that my brain has been implanted in a hunter-killer robot, and I'm pondering the irony of trying to wipe out my genetic lines? I'm ok with that.

What if we're hunting them?

So I should make sure they know to put points in the Robot Expert perk?

Joke's on subby. You can't have descendants when you're forever alone. My genetic line will die with me, long before the robot rising.

Jesus christ, we're all gonna die!
And probably from old age, after the robots take care of us until we're elderly.

The one thing I kept thinking about when reading TFA was about reading the Star Trek: The Next Generation Technical Manual, which explains that when two Starfleet vessels are in communications range of one another, the ships' computers automatically share notes and supply each other with information like recent discoveries, ships' logs intelligence data and other information. It's like this writ large.

There's an unbroken line from the earliest hominids to you of people getting laid... Why must you break the chain? Go out there and fulfil your destiny.

You make it sound like I have much choice in the matter. I prefer to accept my lot in life with quiet dignity.

Meh. The next species to rise to the top should be one that can instantly upgrade itself as new technology comes out, and doesn't have to worry about eating, getting cancer, etc... Where also little things like murder and child abuse are a thing of the past because nobody dies anymore (because they can back themselves up). Manned Space travel to other wolds would be possible at any speed because everyone would be robots.
