It's a PITA to get it to liquid form. It can be done but it takes a substantial facility..
We are building out such a facility in Louisiana right now.

Imagine a giant tanker filled with liquid NG. Now imagine a terrorist cell taking it over and turning it into a gigantic bomb that would level a port city.

There's no way in hell would I ever live anywhere close to a port that shipped/received NG.

Actually LNG is much more stable than gaseous natural gas
