Look, we all knew he was anti-American when he didn't order a drone strike on Ghana.

She asked her followers on Twitter if Obama "should be at the game today" between the United States and Belgium.

"We want to know should President Obama be at the World Cup today," she said. "This is a controversial question, I'm finding, because everybody is responding on Twitter to this."

Yeah it's really controversial. You asked your twitter followers, then added the question on a screen on a national television program, then said apoplectically, "Why is everyone is responding to this?"

The world cup team during the match or the country?

I thought watching soccer was anti-American and the World Cup was a distraction from the quest to find the truth about Benghazi. Or was that just last week?

Yeah, I thought we as Americans didn't like the World Cup as a team sport where you can't laugh at any individual's pain, like in real American sports. Are you meaning to imply that Fox News will merely take a negative stance on any position Obama takes? I'm just not sure I could believe that.

Last week was a non-event.  Now we are in the final sixteen, this means something and is important, unless we lose, then it goes back to being a stupid European game.

If they win, we were all huge soccer fans from the beginning, unlike you Jonny Come Latelies.

Right, found it, there was even a thread for it.  It's mentioned in TFA: http://www.salon.com/2014/06/26/fox_news_guest_keith_ablow_says_obama % E2%80%99s_using_world_cup_%E2%80%9Cto_distract_people%E2%80%9D/

2014-07-01 05:19:24 PM
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they complain about the costs associated with him traveling internationally to visit other heads of state?

But he should spend money on a soccer game.  Makes perfect sense.

Wouldn't he be anti-American if he pretended to give a shiat about soccer?

2014-07-01 06:01:54 PM
If he went there'd be ten million inept photoshops about how Kenya wasn't in the Cup this year.

Now if we had President Palin representing us there...the world would die in nuclear fire when she was photographed in an ass-floss Brazilian swimsuit and a tabloid printed it with the headline "Hair To The Chief"

Look, it's so simple even a Librador can grasp it.  Whatever Fartbama is doing is what he should NOT be doing.  And whatever he is NOT doing is what he SHOULD be doing.  And if he stops NOT doing something and starts DOING it, then he should NOT be doing it.

It's worse than that.  Last week, Obama was using Benghazi as a distraction from Benghazi.  We're through the looking glass, people!

Obama wanted us to lose, otherwise he would have ordered drone strikes on Belgium. And on that motherfarker who scored the points. What, we couldn't have taken that guy out with a missile or something before he made it to the goal?

Fox figured out the perfect storm with this one, you're anti-American if you don't go and you waste the tax payers money if you do, and on soccer no less, the most anti-American sport there is.  Either way when you ask this question you base will get all frothy.

I had no clue how right on point Bill Maher was when he gave this monologue in 2008:

"Now that you've lost, Republicans have to agree not to waste everyone's time spending the next four years screaming for investigations of Barack Obama over made-up bullshiat.

[...]

So, you know what phrase I don't want to hear used frivolously for the next four years whenever Barack Obama forgets to put the kids in the car seat? "Disrespect for the rule of law." Dick Cheney ordered prisoners tortured by name. That ship has sailed.

I don't want to hear Sean Hannity say that, "Barack Obama announced that his daughters would be getting a puppy. A puppy from where? Probably a Chihuahua that came in from Mexico illegally. And how do we know this isn't a dog that pals around with terriers?"

You know, when Obama starts a pre-emptive war, and then f*cks it up, and makes torture our official policy and outs a CIA agent, and purges U.S. Attorneys, and tries to put his cleaning lady on the Supreme Court--and doesn't act on global warming, and appoints as the head of FEMA an ex-dildo salesman who was his college roommate--you know, that kind of stuff, believe me, I'll be with you. But, until then, I don't want to see Republicans freaking out if Obama isn't singing the National Anthem loud enough, or they find out he gets his suits made in France."

I would amend this by adding that whatever past Presidents have done he is responsible for and should not have done, whatever future Presidents do he should not have done, and whatever anyone tangentially related to, working for, or completely unrelated to him does is something he should not have done.  Proxies and time machines man, it's just so simple.

Their ONLY policy is 'Whatever Obama does, it's wrong'. They don't care if they contradict themselves (like how Obama should have been helping Libya until he actually (as part of the UN and NATO) helped Libya, at which point he was a tyrant).
