I drank a large soda at the start of The Postman and regretted it.

I saw the previews for The Postman and said, "No, thanks".  I have never regretted that decision.

Presuming that it makes a pretty good first cut, this would be incredibly useful on something like security footage.

Fark you sunny, The Postman was a very good movie.  It was better than Waterworld anyway.

The Resident Evil movie came on TV and it was cut like this. They'd just appear in another room, like they teleported everywhere. It was ridiculous. Plus there still weren't enough zombies.

It would take a really specific kind of asshole to record his whole boring day with Google Glass and then upload a trailer of said day to the internet. It's something I can totally see a Google Glass person doing.

If it doesn't cut credits, 2001: A Space Odyssey would be the credits.

Interestingly enough, the uncut version of Waterworld is also much better than Waterworld.

Ba-zing! Take that, movie that came out 17 years ago!

If the postman is done in 2 1/2 minutes, not even subby's mom will be satisfied with him.

AIDS has been around for longer, and still terrorizes us each and every day.

The length of time that a great humanitarian crises has been revealed does not detract from the magnitude of the humanitarian crises.

/watched The Postman for the first time a few years ago
//I could not, for the life of me, take it seriously.

I've always wondered what its message was supposed to be.  Raise the profile of postal workers to hero status like dances with Wolves did for Native Americans?  Because form everythign I've heard about it, the basic message was, "Look at me, I'm Kevin Costner."

This should be mandatory on all Youtube how-to videos. Because no one wants to see some fat kid blabbering for 8 minutes about why he bought a certain car/computer/tool/whatever just to reach the 20 seconds of him demonstrating how to fix/disassemble/whatever to it that you actually need to know.

2 1/2 minutes?  I thought this was about The Postman not The Marathon Man.

I thought it was the scene with the bare breasts that was left...

The movie was not really anything like the book. The book is fan-farking-tastic, and I highly recommend it.

As far as the software, imagine applying it to a live feed of C-SPAN!

Clever headline subby. That said, I love The Postman. Couldn't you have picked something else, like, I dunno... LOTR 3? Gone With The Wind? The English Patient?

Mailman is on his route a couple days before Xmas. Stops at Mrs. Whites house, she invites him in, gives him a ride and a 5 dollar bill.

He says "what was that all about?"

She says "my husband and I were discussing a Xmas tip for you. He said 'fu*k him'. The 5 bucks was my idea."

And we'll still have to pay more for stamps.

I like that movie.

Sorry 'bout your ADHD, Subby.
