I like the pic on the Amazon page:

Give them props for subtlety, though, for not dressing the model up as Slave Leia:

They've raised the price to $84!  Holy crapola.

I read that as "Hockey Religions" and thought the thread was a bit late.

Eating popsicles ain't like dusting crops, boy!  Without precise calculations, we could fly right through a StarBar, or bounce too close to a Super-Scoop -- and that would end your summer afternoon real quick, wouldn't it..?

Holy shiat. You can get a detailed life sized metal replica with a retracting blade and sound for $100. Or so I've heard.

Man, I have a taste for dairy queen now...

I have a feeling you're holding that hockey stick wrong.

these have been out for a couple of years, and yet this gets a green light ?  seriously...who do you have to blow to get links approved around here?

This. It started out as a Think Geek April Fool's joke/focus group.

The Think Geek page still has the ice cream truck versions of the Imperial March and the Stars Wars theme available for download though:

They make for an awesome summer time ringtone.

Photoshopper should have made the handle longer to include the parts you actually touch. He's touching the glowing part.

The blade could be a lot longer. She doesn't look happy at all with this.

Is it just me or does it look like Luke really phoned it in when he designed his ROTJ light sabre.

65$? 84? whatever, man.  $25 tops.

It's not the size of the saber, but the Force behind it.

Actually it's quite common for a Padawan's first saber to resemble his master's. Obi Wan's EPI saber was similar to Qui Gon's. Even Darth Vader's Sith saber was similar to his Jedi one.

Or it could just be that there were only so many models of old-time camera flashes to choose from when building the props.

Those light sabers look really uncomfortable to hold.

WTF with the on/off button like a muggle flashlight?  Jedi mind powers not trustworthy enough?

Well in case you need a non-Jedi buddy of yours to use your lightsaber to open up a Taun Taun so that you can live inside it for the night, with no physical switch you'd be farked.
