Jack Russells are yappy little farks that deserve to be on a skewer in a market in Chaia.

I'd watch a show called "Pimp My Pooch" if Xzibit was involved...

That's the funniest thing I've seen in a while.  Seriously, I cannot stop laughing.

I've been babysitting a Jack Russell for the last 6 weeks (he's been hanging out with my five) whose going home tomorrow.  I don't think he is going to want to leave.  He's been on boat rides, has a huge fenced yard to run in, and has a BFF.  He hasn't been nearly as annoying as I expected.

Those people are jerks.  The dog is better off.

Now I understand why my dog's adoption papers came with a clause essentially saying the shelter has sole rights over her if for any reason I can't personally continue to keep her. I figured they were just protecting their animals from ever being turned over to a kill shelter.

Apparently I would be lousy at thinking of immoral ways to make money. Also: people farking SUCK.

I adopted my dog from the shelter in Kona. I had to sign two, TWO, different papers that affirmed I would not eat the dog, but nothing that said I wasn't gonna flip it for cash...

I read another article that said the dog was 10+ years old, so I imagine it had mellowed somewhat.  But - I know exactly what you mean.  A few years ago I offered to babysit a friend's JRT while he had and recovered from some pretty serious surgery.

I love dogs, and have my own (larger-breed, more mellow) but I swear to God I was ready to murder that hyper little a-hole by the time it went back home.  It was one of the most challenging contests of will I have ever experienced.

When I first read the headline, I immediately thought of my 7-month old lab. I paid a lot for him, but only a fraction of what he is now worth. Knows every command like a champ, shadows me but has a great independence about him. And he is drop-dead gorgeous. I would not part with him for any amount, but goodness knows he could be flipped for a hefty sum.

Nothing in the world like a great dog.

Idk, in a weird way I might be ok with this. I live here, and the number of dogs running around is crazy. Personally I think all dogs should come from the shelter (they even have purebreds there!) and they come spayed/neutered shots up to date, and micro chipped. Most of the dogs on Craigslist (note, not all, just most) cost more than you typically pay for a pound puppy. Imo people who are willing to pay more to get the dog, MAY take better care of it. So in some strange way, maybe she took it out of the shelter and found a good home for it. The outrage seems to be that she made money off of it. The 'murican way!!!

I would have nothing to do with a neurotic, impertinent vendor who insisted on the right to tell me what I can do with property I have purchased from him.

Unless he's selling me software, or a phone, or cable TV services, or....
