"The earth is our inheritance, OK, but what these guys are trying to do is third-party their way into it,"

Yeah, that's called living in a society with the rule of law instead of anarchy. We all got together a pretty long time ago and decided to do it this way.

2014-06-25 04:25:46 PM
Ah, sovereign citizens.

They'd be nothing but comedy if they didn't actually try to  act on their beliefs.

"The earth is our inheritance, OK, but what these guys are trying to do is third-party their way into it," Ball said. "So here's how they want you to believe the chain of command goes: God, the Vatican, Washington, D.C., the city of London."

Holy shiatsnacks - they're even crazier than I thought.

Ball claimed London controlled the world's finances,

Ummm... no.

while Washington created war and kept slaves in line by "taxing them to death,"

No...

and he argued that the Vatican interfered with an individual's contract with the creator.

No more so than any other religion.

Jeez.  The Bundy ranch.  It's still a thing?  Is this really still a thing?

So, is this dude a 'Private' or a 'General'?

Tell him to go away, and come back when he makes up his mind.

As the Eagles' 1979 Al Green pastiche, "I Can't Tell You Why," plays in the background, Ball explains that sovereign citizens can hold public officials accountable for violating their oath with the Public Servant Questionnaire.
And if they are not wearing their hat when they pull you over you can just drive away.

These people are farking idiots.

The US Army should show these traitors how it treats other sovereigns trying to occupy the United States.

It's part of the Republican Outrage machine. Here's how it works (in ten steps):

1.- Anything is wrong in the government/Some charge of bias against conservatives.
2.- Right wing radio and blogs lose their minds in anger and outrage
3.- Fox News covers it 24/7
4.- GOP politicians pretend to be outraged
5.- Scandal is proven false
6.- Obama fires someone
7.- Everyone alleges cover-up
8.- Republicans hold congressional hearings
9.- They get MSM coverage or complain about lack of coverage
10.- Every Republican in the country repeats the talking point without any idea what the original "scandal" is

Yeah, they're the gift that keeps on derping.  I suspect there are two main Sovereign Citizen groups, the Posse Comitatus-linked bunch and the just plain crazy Freemen on the Land types.  The trouble is that they overlap each other a great deal, and one tends to resemble the other before things get wildly out of hand.

"I want to give you guys the basic chain of command, all right?" said Ball, of the Citizens Action Network. "Up at the top of this tree is the creator, whoever your creator is, that's where the creator's at. The one below that is you, okay? So your original contract was with the creator."

And I bet they would accept Muslims, Jews, and any other religious affiliation into their fleshy folds....

Right?

Here's the thing. If the hospital where you are born has a US flag (non-fringed) out front that is not 18.2 inches higher than the nearest state flag you were born with right to never have to poop in a restroom. The truth is you can walk into any restaurant you want and take a dump on the buffet table as is your legal right

2014-06-25 04:52:10 PM
I'm surprised that Bundy hasn't brought his case before a Citizen Grand Jury of his own creation. They could declare him innocent of all charges and say the US government must pay him several million dollars and accept his sole legal custody of the Bunkerville Allotment and all other "federal" lands his cattle wish to roam in perpetuity.

Benevolent Misanthrope: Holy shiatsnacks - they're even crazier than I thought.

The article doesn't say, and a quick google search doesn't bring up anything, but there is no indication that this "private attorney general" is actually an attorney.  Certainly, the blithering idiocy of the legal advice he's giving would lead me to think he's not.  Impersonating an attorney is a crime.  This idiot needs arresting.

And atheists and agnostics get...what? (Nothing, probably.)

Also, to enforce a contract, don't you need each party to affix its mark (usually a signature) to a document signifying its agreement to the terms? I don't see God's signature or mark anywhere, nor can It be called to a hearing to indicate what such a mark might be, where it might have been affixed, and Its' opinion on what the terms of that contract actually mean (Exhibit A: the same Hebrew document is defined in at least 5 different ways according to major religious philosophies of today, not to mention any supporting documents added to the canon of each).

Any contract lawyers here want to take a crack at this crackpot?

"The earth is our inheritance, OK, but what these guys are trying to do is third-party their way into it," Ball said. "So here's how they want you to believe the chain of command goes: God, the Vatican, Washington, D.C., the city of London."

"There's no claimant," he said. "The state's not allowed to be a claimant, yet they do that every day. If you don't rebut it, then that means you consent to it, and they move forward with it and they subjugate you to it."

"We gave our power to them - loaned it to them - to do their job, and most of them don't do their job," Ball argued. "So the next time they try to order them around, know that they're just a corporation, they have no authority on you. You have the authority. Why? Because God and you is the original contract. Nobody can come in between that, period."

An excellent point. They don't play the game that way. Be careful of going after the Attorney General though...Oh wait, PRIVATE Attorney General. Hell, I have a Private Navy Admiral I use on fishing trips, a Private Commander in Chief for long games of Civilization and a Private Surgeon General to chastise me on my drinking habit.
