the 22-year-old Stamford man reeked of marijuana when he met June 9 with his probation officer.

19 bags of pot in his left sock

I assumed that bringing drugs to court was a euphemism for some kind of sex act, and in the context of the headline I presumed it was some kind of dangerous, shameful, or disgusting sexual act. Imagine my disappointment when I realized the whole thing was a discussion about marijuana. OH MY LAWD. The man's got marijuana! OH LAWDY, and cotton socks. GEE OH MY, and cinnamon gum? SEND HIM STRAIGHT TO THE SLAMMER.

I agree that he shouldn't have gone to jail for the pot but if he was stupid enough to take it with him when he went to go meet with his probation officer well what the fark did he think would happen?

I'm curious, quite a few things didn't add up. He was being held on a $5000 bond? As in he brought 19 bags of weed from the jail to the courthouse? Or he has since bonded out if jail on a $5000 bond? They're only thinking about revoking his probation, yet he's facing a new Risk of injury to a minor charge? Wtf?

He faces a possible revocation of his probation on charges of risk of injury to a minor.

Legalize it?

I think they meant to write "is being held"...and they may revoke his probation on the injury to minor charges...he may do time instead...plus the weed charges.

If he's brazen enough to bring 19 bags of weed to court...he's likely not to take any other laws serious either. I mean thats just cocky ballsy........dicky.

19 bags?  WTF?  What constitutes a bag now-a-days?

I'm thinking a small bag holding enough for one joint.  Having 19 of those bags proves he wasn't smoking it himself, he planned on selling.

Maybe they all run Adblock while begging us not to use it on Fark.

Or he's just OCD and he doesn't want them to touch.

"He faces a possible revocation of his probation on charges of risk of injury to a minor."

Who's this minor the story fails to inform us of?
"Yeah. see that kid over there with his mother? Yeah, you endangered him. If we had a charge on stupidity, you'd have it, so endangerment will have to do."
