Nah, if she got eaten, the lion(s) would likely need to be put down.

That's going to be difficult to do in the polar bear enclosure.

She can add 'Polar Bear Chew-toy' to her resume. Along with ass-clown, dip-shiat, dumb-fark, fool, idiot, moron, and so on.

Was at the National Zoo this past saturday to see the Invertebrate house before it closed, and happened to walk around the big cat area.  There were these idiot kids yelling lion roar noises at the lion while the lion sat there not giving a fark.  It was mildly amusing.

While it would be nice to offer the cats fresh meat on the hoof ya gotta remember just how nasty humans are, ya wouldn't want to give the poor cat indigestion or worse...

In reality, nature wants you dead, whether it's a lion snacking on you, or a tornado hoovering you up, or a rip current pulling you out to sea, or any of millions of other ways.

I thought, Why are a bunch of spineless, slimy creatures leaving DC? Then I realized, Summer Recess.

Well, they do keep the cougars in separate enclosures.

Even Disney portrays lions as assholes. Exiling the hyenas to a wasteland, I mean, come on...

/You're thinking of Eden
//Or possibly Narnia

It is not self correcting.

If they lions ate her, they would get sick.  Not to mention the liability that would befall the zoo.

If you can't trust someone to be smart enough to stay out of the lion's enclosure, they need to be forcibly kept out.

They put down the polar bears at the DC zoo years ago when some dumb kid jumped in. That area is now Amazonia.

Idiots.  It's not even like the justification given for putting down animals in the wild that lose their fear of humans.  The bears are in a cage.  They're staying in the cage.  When bears get to adulthood, zookeepers don't go in the cage with them anymore (in my admittedly-limited experience).  Keep the stupid humans from jumping in the enclosure, and nobody needs to die.

I know this is the internet and people tend to not take things seriously, but there's nothing funny about this.  Try to put it in perspective, we're talking about a zoo with extremely important safety obligations that could have dire consequences if they're not met.  The lions could potentially contract who knows what kinds of diseases if they're allowed to eat just any old meat.

It's fine if she dies, but horrible if one of the lions has to be put down because of it. There are 3 billion crazy biatches, but only ~50,000 lions left.

But do you realize how much cholesterol she probably has?  That can't be good for the lions heath.
