(Reuters)   CDC reassigns director of the anthrax mishap to another lab, hopefully to have a SARS mishap, or maybe VX. Anyone up for some mustard gas?   (reuters.com) divider line 22

Mustard gas and VX at the CDC? I think not. Mustard gas is very easy to make.

So, did the director actually have anything to do with the issue? Or, is this a "feel good for the public" transfer where the researcher that caused it gets to stay?

Why would the CDC have chemical weapons?

Subby, go sit in the corner.

The lab director was reassigned to head protocol, issued a pack of toothbrushes and a bottle of pinesol.

Where do you think all the chemtrails come from?

/Many years ago, I dated a microbiologist who worked there. I understand she left long ago.

Yes, he (she?) was THE DIRECTOR. If your people mess up procedures so bad as to endanger the lives of a bunch of random lab folks...it IS your fault because you obviously weren't pushing process and process audits good enough, and/or did not recognize that the people under you were in some way deficient or incapable of performing their jobs.  So, you, and the few directly involved with the screw up need to find new jobs.  Is it FAIR (TM, all caps, universe filled with rainbows, unicorns and raspberry-eating bunnies)? Nope...but it is how life works - if you figure out to to complain to, let me know.

VX and mustard gas are chemical weapons. Why would the Centers for DISEASE Control have labs devoted to them?

That's what they want you to think, they are intentionally misleading you, then they switch the flip .

//I never thought I'd say this again. I'm getting the pig!

Has anyone noticed that this is the Center for Disease Control and not the Department of Defense? I can't figure out why the CDC would have access to any type of VX chemical ordnance. Or is it just me? Because I never EVER RTFA.
