Well, is it a bit player trifecta in play?

Stephen Fry is a periodically suicidal manic depressive. Brian Blessed seemed to be half way out of his gourd last I saw him unscripted. And Rowan Atkinson has already crashed a McLaren.

(from 'Beer')
[Queen Elizabeth has a lot of good ideas.]
Nursie: That was another good idea! You are so clever today, you better be careful your foot doesn't fall off.
Queen Elizabeth: Does that happen, when you have lots of brilliant ideas? Your foot falls off?
Nursie: Certainly does! My brother, he had this brilliant idea of cutting his toenails with a scythe, and his foot fell off.

That was a cunning plan.

/RIP, Ma'am.

The actor that played Lord Flashheart just died and there was a thread on him. See my post above this for a link to a scene with both of them.

What a pity that they passed away.  Still, I'll never forget watching that show as a teenager.   It helped form my sense of humour.

Baldrick was the bearded bridesmaid, nursie was straight up firm and fruity, and Flashheart had the canoe in his pocket.

No, I hadn't -- but the real Lord Flashheart wouldn't let something as inconvenient as death to stop him from swinging in and leaving with someone behind the cover of a small explosion.

Children have been born after their father has died, but with Flash I'm betting they could be conceived after their father has died.

/Elizabethan England predates cryogenic sperm preservation, so it's a bigger achievement.

With Flashheart, children are conceived before intercourse.

For some reason I read that as "Flights of crows". Also appropriate for dead people.
