(KHOU Houston)   If you work at a daycare, it's okay to tuck the children in for their naps. Just don't do it with duct tape. "It was something that probably shouldn't have been done"   (khou.com) divider line 24

Although it's initially cost prohibitive, gaffer's tape uses a natural rubber adhesive and is reusable several times. Then you get used to the stuff and $25 a roll doesn't seem so outrageous. Like the mainline heroin of the adhesive tapes.

I got called in to sub kindergarten the other day and got the "dead woman walking" look from every adult in that building.

"Just so you know, please don't judge our school by this class."

I've never duct-taped a kid, but by god do I understand the thinking that leads to it.

Duct tape is like The Force: there's a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.

Tape the kid to the bed or taking a picture after?

My kid isn't fully mobile yet, but I have considered duct-taping his mouth during a crying spell.
