Bye bye, England. Have a nice flight home.

They are still forced to take a failure lap by showing up to game #3, right?

Think of how poorly they might have done without them.

They should just parachute in their U-21 squad to play game #3.  Write a cheque to FIFA, they won't give a shiat.

Which is just funny. Do they try and save face or just throw the subs in? If I had a big contract somewhere I am out. Sounds selfish but it is a pointless game and no sense risking my career for.

To quote a famous player, "For who? For what?"

The good news is that Wayne Rooney did find out that not all Brazilian hookers are trannies.

I went and looked it up. Your right but it doesnt say much about penalties for not doing that. I would imagine that a forfeit and a fine is the worst that can happen. I would take that over the embarrassing loser lap of having to play that last game. You know the focus of the whole broadcast is "it doesnt matter", "its and embarrassment", "national letdown", saving face, blah blah....

Stolen from Ray Hudson:

What's the difference between England's football team and a teabag?

A teabag spends more time in the cup.

The Schadenfruede is so thick here from others, my knife won't make a difference. Sorry Wayne gets all the blame.  It's Gerrard who sucked.

At least maybe the psychiatrists can help them open up about their feelings and have a good cry.

Don't take it too hard, England.  No European Countries have won the Super Bowl either.

Yep.  Oh, seriously, I started to make a rebuttal but I wet myself laughing.

wayne rooney made a goal! of course he missed seven easy ones but he made a goal It's not Rooney's fault.

They're playing in the Southern hemisphere, so down is up, winter is summer, and Rooney did a great job.

He made one goal and scored another if we're going to be pedantic.
