Do submitters even read the articles, or is it just this one?
Wait, is it some form of reverse (inverse) trolling?
Regardless, pathetic...

Reading comprehension, how the fark does it work?

From my quick skimming of the article, it looks like he used $25 worth of bleach to kill a 20,000-year-old man.

Huge difference between $20,000 of bleach and $20,000 of bait fish.  Besides, if you listen to the video it was $30,000 worth of dead fish.

Dick move.

You think competitive fishing is serious business, you should check commercial fishing.

During the Cod Wars, you had one NATO member systematically ramming and trying to sink the military vessels of another NATO member.

(and this is just a preview of what will occur worldwide as fish stocks continue crashing)

I don't like using live bait,  it's much too hard to tie the line to fish's tail.

hmmm. felony criminal mischief.  good luck getting $30k out of the civil suit.  maybe you get your boat back for free.  he had cameras set up so I'm hoping he had insurance to cover that hit.

Who spends that much on bait?  You'd have to be really dumb or really good-- a master baiter, if you will.

Apparently subby works for Gawker based on it's comprehension of the actual facts in the article.

Exactly - 3x as many comments complaining about the error as there are about the fish

He's the master baiter. He didn't buy the bait. He farms the bait and sells it to tournament participants.

20,000 fish killed a 25 year old man?

Wow, check that out.

I informed the admins that the title was completely farked up, and they fixed it.

We should green-light this post, anyone want to come up with a title for it?

Kill some fish. Get arrested. Tank the economy? Free pass. The sole reason that dude is floundering around in jail rather than walking free on the street is that he's not too big to flail. This isn't a fluke, though. It happens all the time.

Hah! I snorted at that!

Look defenders, that headline was so far off it was stupid. $20,000 worth of bleach is a fair sized swimming pool's volume. Thanks admin for making it sensible.

I'll try for the headline...
"Master baiter has bait bleached"

But that shiat backfires. As folks get increasingly tired of the mods doing shiat-all about shiat titles, they'll go looking for sites that don't play this kind of f*ckery.

Of course that depends on how high an opinion you have of the mods - are they selected because they're intellectual giants capable of such shenanigans, or are they selected because they are just dumb farks like the rest of us, but with time on their hands .....

I'd pick Double Whammy myself, but all of 'em from that era are hilarious and un-put-down-able.
