No, that would still be a Nimitz class aircraft carrier.

I thought this whole mess was settled on CNN and that it was swallowed up by a small black hole.

It seems to be riding a bit high in the water in that picture.

The plane was commandeered and redirected to a secret runway somewhere in Thailand. It and the passengers were then sold for parts. Ironically enough, most of the plane is now part of this search vessel.

Some day, in the future, Flight 370 will come careening out of black hole vortex and crash land on I95, somewhere in Virginia.

There's probably nothing on the helipad, so it's riding high while unladen.

/uneducated guess.

JayCab: What the heck is that ship used for?

Tending to submersibles, being a launchpad for search helicopters, and towing a sonar transmitter around.

Ocean Shield does have its own Wikipedia page

Built in Romania for a Norwegian firm, Australia bought it for its navy in disaster relief and humanitarian chores. It's schedule to join the Customs and Border Protection force soon.

It also has a sister ship:

Supervillains tell their henchmen "Dispose of these two in the volcano." and the henchmen go to it. Regular villains get told by their henchmen that they're not getting that near an active volcano without a rescue team, environmental control, safety gear and a negotiated extra holiday in January and August. Not to mention safety training.

You conspiracy theorists crack me up. Everyone knows it was flown to Denver by the Reptillians and taken to the tunnels under DIA, where the passengers' life forces are being used as a power source for the earthquake generator. Kind of like Stephen King's Tommyknockers. The guy's one of our best informants.

Meh. Not cooler than the ship designed to go vertical (without sinking). I forget what ship it is, but y'all know which one I mean.

Huh, we have a least two of those in the harbor most of the time, rather nifty still.

The harbor is a stones throw from an old fortress where they have a lot of concerts (Iron Maiden next weekend actually), and often people working on the boats use the helipads as a good way to watch the concerts for free.

But if you want a proper villain boat, I'd recommend the 210' Sunreef trimaran:
