We have Buffalo Trace now in Nova Scotia at the government booze repository. It's the bourbon I drink when I'm out of scotch.

What about the Buffalo Stance?

I was able to tour three distilleries when I was in KY in May (Maker's Mark, Woodford Reserve and Heaven Hill, makers of Evan Williams and Elijah Craig).  These angels were in the MM warehouse, waiting for their share.

Buffalo Trance, OTOH, is a rave scene in a warehouse next to where Moog made the synthesizers.

Are they going to actually make more? In Atlanta the distributors have been out for months now and there's none to be found on any store shelves.

Here's to bourbon I have to wait 20 years to get. Kind of like Pappy Van Winkle!

Must be local shortage. Always plenty in the Midwest. I got my last bottle on sale for $19.99.

Maybe head to a different county?  It's on the shelves where I live.

Did someone say bourbon thread?
Let me pour myself a glass of Woodford Reserve... no, Jim Beam's Devil's Cut... no, Angel's Envy... no...

Aw heck, let me line 'em all up.

We always hang in a buffalo trance
We drink bourbon, then we start to dance
I'll give you love, Subby, not romance
I make a post, nothing left to chance
So don't you get fresh with me

I found some Devil's Cut the other day. I'd never seen it before. That is some good stuff.

Went to that one when we were there.  Have also been to Buffalo Trace.  I love Kentucky.  Didn't think I would - but I do.  Of course, I was not there in summer, so I didn't see humidity.

I was pleasantly surprised.  The name and marketing seemed a bit 'gimmicky', so I didn't expect great things.  Excellent whiskey for the price.

I have 4 words for you.  Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream.

It is absolutely delicious, and is one of the best after dinner drinks.  Also goes great with coffee.

Is it anything like Baileys Irish Cream?

I was wondering about the Devil's Cut.  I have heard about people drinking stuff that was leached out of the wood of an old barrel and it sounded worse than mouthwash or lysol.
