Kinda?

Am I missing the joke here, or are you?

This is a crime, right?  Shouldn't they let the cops handle things instead of suspending dozens of kids like asshats?

You know that eventually, SOMETHING will be too obscure for someone on fark.

And that someone will be on our lawn...

Jesus except for the mustache he looks just like my crazy uncle. Repressed memories are probably going to flood out of my head at an inappropriate time.

Amateurs....

First you find the backdoor.
Then you create an admin account from a PC that someone forgot to log out of.
Next you alter minor things on a random account just to see if anyone notices
If nobody noticed the third step, you can go on to doing minor tweaks here and there, but grade changing and attendance changing is a no-no -- they keep physical hard copies....
You can, however, "pay" Senior dues, re-up the lunch account money, tweak the roster to get in the classes you want to be in....connect to the network with a bot-net after school so you don't have to Kazaa (then eMule, then torrent...) on 56k or risk the virus that comes with doing that

/Loved me some insecure Cisco Networking software from between  1999 and 2003 (my high school years)
//Never paid for lunch from 10th grade up
///Liked remote access to a T1...maybe 3...most of all...especially since that was the golden age of piracy; it's only gotten harder since...(VPN's and the like are needed these days)

District superintendent Ronald Lee said that all the students who were suspended received ample opportunity to speak up.

Yes, because I'm sure that all 100 students who had their files changed know exactly who did it and there is no possibility that hacker changed a bunch of people's files without asking for permission first.

What a dick.

It's the old "punish them all until someone snitches or admits it" tactic.

"I just want the person whoever did it to confess that they did it and my record be clean," he told News 12 New Jersey.

Tyler Taylor should receive an F in English.

Years ago the Mayflower Madam salted her books with prominent non-client men so if she got caught all of her customers could claim to be innocent.  If you want to change the records for ten of your friends  also change the records of twenty random or prominent students.  Hey I'm just as much a victim as you are
