I can understand why the liberals are up in arms - nobody likes having their mistakes pointed out to them by their political enemies, but the Cheney's are right:  Obama abandoned a war in Iraq that we had under control and were winning.  What did the administration think would happen?  Besides rainbows shooting from unicorn asses, I mean.

Cheney and his daughter are pivoting their focus, railing against Obama for what they say has been a failure to protect Iraq from terrorist groups.

Terrorist groups that, for the most part, did not exist in Iraq until Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, and their ilk ousted the person who, oddly enough, did a much better job keeping terrorists out of Iraq than the Bush administration did keeping them out of the United States. But, hey, swings and roundabouts.

Its not really terrorism anymore when they become an army, right?  If ISIS is a terrorist group then the US is a terrorist group.

Iraq is an invented country.
There are no "Iraqi" people, they are all different ethic and religious backgrounds.
Therefore there was no "Iraq" war to win or lose. QED

Bush's own advisers predicted the country would fall apart when American forces left (before Obama was ever in the picture) so are you and  the Cheneys advocating for a permanent military presence in Iraq?

Good to see the apologists out this morning.

They could nuke Israel, invade the US, and have us all speaking Farsi and there would still be people on here praising Obama's "patient commitment to the long game".

FTFA: Cheney and his daughter are pivoting their focus, railing against Obama for what they say has been a failure to protect Iraq from terrorist groups.

This is coming from the people that couldn't even protect America from terrorist groups and manufactured lies to invade a country at the expense of over 100,000 lives

In 2008 the American and Iraqi governments signed the US-Iraq Status of Forces agreement which stipulates that all American forces should withdraw from Iraqi cities by 30 June 2009 and from Iraqi territory altogether by 31 December 2011. On 14 December 2008 then-President George W. Bush signed the security pact with Iraq.

So yeah, fark you chicken hawks and everyone that believes your never ending lies.

Uh hate to break it to you, but Jerusalem is holy ground to Muslims. Nuking it because of the Israelis would make as much sense as Bill McDonahue tossing grenades into St Peter's because he doesn't like Pope Francis.

"American freedom will not be secured by empty threats, meaningless red lines, leading from behind, appeasing our enemies, abandoning our allies, or apologizing for our great nation-all hallmarks to date of the Obama doctrine. "

...  it was just a noise, a quack-quack-quacking. And yet, though you could not actually hear what the man was saying, you could not be in any doubt about its general nature. He might be denouncing Obama and demanding sterner measures against terrorists, he might be fulminating against the atrocities of the Syrian government, he might be praising the NSA or the heroes of the Iraq war - it made no difference. Whatever it was, you could be certain that every word of it was pure orthodoxy, pure Tea Party. As he watched the eyeless face with the jaw moving rapidly up and down, Winston had a curious feeling that this was not a real human being but some kind of dummy. It was not the man's brain that was speaking, it was his larynx. The stuff that was coming out of him consisted of words, but it was not speech in the true sense: it was a noise uttered in unconsciousness, like the quacking of a duck.

Lucky LaRue: Obama abandoned a war in Iraq that we had under control and were winning

I think we should nominate Dick Cheney to be the US Ambassador to Iraq. Also, I think we should then remove all of our security forces and other staff from the embassy, but that's just a coincidence.
