Yeah, that seems likely... Cops search the guy four times, finding objects as small and flat as his bank card, but completely miss the gun. That's definitely a lot more reasonable than that a cop gets mad over someone who is only going to be facing a single charge for possession doing meth in his neighborhood, so he shoots the guy in the stomach and plants a gun with the serial number scratched off on him, such that he's now facing additional charges for attempted murder, assault, and weapons possession. Since this all happened in the parking lot of the police station, I'm sure we'll see the video of the handcuffed guy firing the gun any day now...
