Super serious music, no "Hooked on a Feeling," but two pretty good Rocket v Starlord comedy bits.

By the time this thing comes out I'll just be able to string the trailers together, and skip paying $30 for the theater.

2014-06-17 03:14:30 PM
I wonder if Rocket will still have the "murdered you" catchphrase in the movie.

That said, I'm excited.

Still on the edge about this one... :\

All Marvel films look the same to me at this point.

I keep hoping for a glimpse of Cosmo, but no dice so far.

I'll be there opening night.

I'm just asking questions: I keep hoping for a glimpse of Cosmo, but no dice so far.

I'm getting the feeling the shot of Knowhere is probably the closing shot...maybe we'll get Cosmo as the ship docks in the very last seconds of the movie...or as one of the stingers.

Yeah this space adventure with a talking racoon, and all sorts of alien creatures looks just like the most of the other movies set here on earth, with more grounded approaches to comic book reality.

Aside from the last scene with Rocket, it looks mostly like stuff that's been in other trailers.  I do like that Marvel doesn't give away the whole damn movie in the trailer.

On topic: I'm super pumped for this movie, and I've never heard of Guardians of the Galaxy before the trailers started popping up. I'm a fan of Chris Pratt, and hope he keeps getting big roles. And the previews just make it look like a fun adventure. That's all I want.

That's supposed to be a raccoon? I thought it was Thor, but I did wonder why he wasn't green or carrying his shield.

I want a squeezable Rocket which repeats all of his best catchphrases.

I'd heard of them in passing as a bit of a comic nerd, but never even bothered Wiki'ing until the trailers started.... Definitely gonna be there opening weekend with as many people as I can drag to it. It looks like a great mix of comedy, explodey bits and fun.

/wonder if they could get Chris Pine as a cameo to do a background double-take at Gamora...

I really hope Zoe Saldana is raking in money hand over fist with all of these sci-fi/adventure movies she's in.

Whatever about looking the same as all the other Marvel movies, this trailer sounds the same as every other action move trailer.

Bring back the Spirit in the Sky/Hooked on a Feeling tunes.

Too bad he was engaged to Omarosa and the only way out was the sweet release of death.

We going to see any swinging tree penis in this movie or what?

That actually made it look far less entertaining than the first trailer did.

The jokes/humor in that trailer are pretty damn bland. The dialogue was pretty damn cliche.

Of course, the same can be said about all the Marvel movies. They're not bad, but they really are just pumped-up generic action movies.

This is looking better all the time.

The WB execs are going to be checking their blood pressure a lot on the weekend of July 31st.

Nope. Nowhere is a setting in the film's second act and you do meet Cosmo.

This was meant for the U.K. Maybe the people who put it together didn't think the Brits would connect with the music. What leads to the question: what would be an appropriate British song to put in the trailer?

Maybe I'm in the minority, but this looks farking stupid. All superhero movies push the willing suspension of disbelief line pretty hard, but this movie looks like it crosses it. The whole talking raccoon superhero thing is just too much. I will not be seeing this.

Considering he's a vital character in the comics. NOT including him would cross my suspension of disbelief line.

I love this. I love this film.

I'm going to be out of town, on vacation when this opens, so I'll have to drag some family along, this time.
