I like that he's coming back late afternoon the day before a stat holiday. I appreciate wanting a gradual easing back into things, but what is he planning to do in the 2 hours before City Hall closes for Canada Day?

Say what you want about Rob Ford but, he looks like he enjoys the job a whole lot altogether.

What's the over/under on number of days before we see new video of him in a drunken stupor?

I say by the end of that week. No way he can go through Canada Day without a few wobbly-pops.

Well wouldn't you?  If you had a "nothing to lose" mentality and all your shenanigans were funded on the public dime, i'd be pretty happy too..

Greasy Joe did the right thing this morning by resigning in disgrace.

Toronto's mayor-in-title-only seems to have a defective "shame gene", so the concept of "disgrace" is completely unknown to him.

Is Tom Goes to the Mayor still on the air? Or has cartoon network decided to stop showing badly drawn shows of awkward people acting awkward, that stoners seem to like/

Everything's Coming Up Robbie

Starring John Candy as Wally Wypyzypywchuk.

That's an in joke for Canadians who can remember when Stanfield was not just a brand of Nova Scotian long johns or even when they were made in Nova Scotia and not Malaysia or somewhere.

I watched Coming Up Rosie when I was a kid. Dan Ackroyd played the Super. John Candy really did play Wally Whatthefark?.

You've heard of the Birth of the Cool? While this was the Pre-Birth of the Cool that was SCTV. One of several wonderfully dumb low-budget CBC shows that taught Second City's Canadians their chops, including the David Steinberg Show.

And now you know something you did not know before.

Funny big fat people are what today's comedy is all about.  You also get twice the comedian when you hire a fat person than hiring a skinny person.

Good to hear the alcohol problem is resolved. Only the crack problem, the corruption problem, the appetite problem, the racism problem, the misogyny problem, the homophobia problem, the lying problem, the poor math problem, the drunk-and-disorderly problem, the fame whoring problem, the distracted driving problem and the anger management problem remain!

/problem mayor.

Who are these people who are supporting his reelection campaign? Are they just doing it for the lulz?
