Gonz: Well, yeah. What do you expect, since the government got involved with it?The VA for everybody! Thanks, Obama.
The Stealth Hippopotamus: This year, its healthcare has been praised for offering "universal coverage with low out-of-pocket costs while maintaining quick access to specialty services".lol wut?You know it's bad why a socialist website is knocking your state provided healthcare. And yes I did try to pick the farthest left website I could find.

IamKaiserSoze!!!: Interesting that when health shiate gets real the international wealthy folks check into US hospitals.
SlothB77: so this study is pretty much useless.
The Stealth Hippopotamus: SlothB77: so this study is pretty much useless.Well the headline sounds good. And as this thread proves that's all most people read.
Peter von Nostrand: Yet the right will gulp down whatever business tells them without thinking and without a bit of irony. Funny how that works
Grand_Moff_Joseph: It's a microcosm of a larger point I make to conservatives:Nearly every major country in the EU has a higher tax burden than us, higher wages, higher cost of living, and exponentially more government/nationalized services.Yet they spend less per capita on all of those than we do on our minuscule services.Explain that please.
SlothB77: Remember how the health care data released by the VA lied about how quickly patients were examined by doctors? Remember about all the fraud associated with the health data the VA released?Where do you think this study got its health care data about the NHS, who owns and very tightly controls their health care data? From the NHS.None of the data coming from government-run health care systems is true. None of this data is remotely accurate. It is all very tightly controlled and embellished and massaged to make the government look good. If they have to use secret wait lists, they will.It is much harder to fudge the numbers in the USA, where there are thousands of various private health agencies - be they insurers or hospitals or doctors.Look, there is no way those numbers in this study from the UK or switzerland or any other government-run health care country are even remotely close to accurate. so this study is pretty much useless.
gopher321: BWAHAHAHAHA USA #11 on the list, HA what a bunch of losers, ha ha hee-*sees Canada ranked #10*Ohh...[mojoimage.com image 198x154]
nekom: That's because we already have socialized medicine, it's just that it's a total clusterfark.Say I have no insurance, get into a car wreck and have to be lifeflighted, several surgeries. I rack up a million dollars in medical debt. Yeah, I'm not going to be paying that, not even going to try, not sending a single cent. I'll BK out of it, anyone in their right mind would. That cost gets absorbed, we all pay more and that strain on the convoluted system we have drags down the quality of care.
DamnYankees: What I find interesting is that the UK, the country with the most nationalized and socialistic form of health care, not only ranks #1 overall, but has the shortest wait times, which is always talking point #1 when it comes to opposing socialized health care.
Sin_City_Superhero: That's why I get all my healthcare from third-world countries.
occrider: Gonz: Well, yeah. What do you expect, since the government got involved with it?The VA for everybody! Thanks, Obama. You know how I know you're an idiot?
