I wonder why he kept a pound of meth between his car and his house? He should have it hidden somewhere. Maybe a safe or something.

Pick: Why do we hear stories like this from a "newspaper" in the UK?

Fark is a news aggregator with users that have access to web sites that post stories that occur in various places from around the world. A Farker will submit a link and maybe the admin will green light it to the main page for us to read (unlikely) or comment something snarky (most likely).

I saw this earlier today from a Fresno news source.  Fark said that link had already been submitted when I tried.

"Stone mostly kept to himself and was not very well known by the normally social community, neighbors said."

That kind of busybody stuff annoys me. Maybe because you neighbors can't keep your noses out of other people's business would be one of reason someone isn't social.

Cops find meth lab at a RETIREMENT village after traffic stop

So now we're just going the ALL CAPS route in our headlines like a deranged Yahoo commenter?

America used to celebrate and reward the entrepreneurial spirit. If a retiree wanted to start a little home business to supplement his pension, it was seen as a good thing.  Now, if anyone dares to step out of line, tries to do a little better than a Social Security check and a can of Alpo, we round them up and throw them in jail.

Thanks, Obama.

Police made the surprising discovery only because state law allows them to search the car of a suspect under supervised release.

Hey look, cops actually obeying some laws. And not make up some "we smelled weed" excuse first.

Time for a family reunion in Oklahoma. Strap them kids in and give 'em a little vodka in some cherry coke.

They never mention WHAT exactly this guy was doing to justify the "routine traffic stop". More than likely they were scanning plates, found one that would let them search with no cause, and pulled him over for something like "erratic braking"
