FTFV: "Birders get up before dawn..."

Birders.

"So, Bob... how long have you been a birder?"

"Well, I have been birding since I was a young boy, I'll tell you. I'd bird here, I'd bird there... anywhere anyone could think of birding, I'd bird. I birded from morning until night. Boy, did I bird then, and do I bird now! To this very day I still love to bird. 'Keep on birding, Bob', yep, that's what they all tell me. And I shall continue to bird."

Sure why stick to standard instruments? These are computers after all, we can do wonderfully great things with them.

So I'm thinking "The Farts, Queefs and Belches of the Honey Boo-Boo family."

Or just stuttering.

Cornell's lab has great resources online. This one will be a lot better when you can sort the playlist by geographic/habitat areas so you can learn identify local dinosaurs birds.

Glenscotia: It's a niche market but it's my market! 328 Life list :)

Oh god, you're one of those.

Instead of counting how many species I've seen, I'd rather monitor a habitat area for returns, nesting areas, do species counts, track new species in an area, and identify any changes that impact their health and populations.

Yes.  The same people are in charge of both of these things.

It's really quite a shame that they can't get their act together and focus on the important things.

/Or maybe they are, and this is how they're telling us that bird apps are more important than a stable Iraq.
//Mind. Blown.

Did anyone else notice that there is a Potatobird in that game? It looks like a big potato with googly eyes.

I asked the Potatobird whether we should bomb the hell out of a bunch of brown people to make them love us,  but it didn't appear to have an opinion.

Based on these results, I propose that we put a jpeg of a potatobird in charge of the next Iraq war.
