(Mercury News)   Admit it, you'd probably go around committing crimes too if you'd basically been told by the legal system that there will be no meaningful consequences for anything short of murder   (mercurynews.com) divider line 37

When puberty finally kicks in and teenage girls around the globe decide he's "too old" and he's cutting the ribbon at a Wegman's opening ceremony just so he can pay for the meth he's going to buy later...

The schadenfreude is going to be SO freakin' sweet.

If I would've had his money when I was his age, I would've been much, much worse than him. With that said, the kid's a douche...

Probably not, but I'm not a total sociopath, either.

he could murder someone too and just get a slap on the wrist.

I would not, but I had the benefit of a father who wasn't worthless.

I doubt I would ever get the opportunity and wouldn't be filming Bieber even if he were around, but I would not take kindly to someone rooting through my pockets or my daughter's (who doesn't exist) purse for allegedly recording him.

I'm okay with an ITG label here, but the least he'd get out of me is a biatch slap. He doesn't deserve a proper punch.

I hope relatives of one of his victims snap and kill him

If I were in his position, I would be seeing what I could do to achieve some career longevity, and he's certainly in the position to do so.

Take a year off, take some lessons (either acting or music) then re-brand yourself as an adult who has something to offer to more than just tweens.

I was pretty farking tame when I was his age. I might have been a bit stuck up, but nowhere near that douchey.

/what can I say, I had good parents raising me right ling before teen influences had a chance to take hold.

Yeah, but do you know how to end every sentence with the word "girl"?
Didn't think so.

I make this prediction with a bit of sadness, but I truly believe the Bieber will continue doing what he does for many years into the future. They may eventually force him to spend a little time in prison, but it won't be very long. Like Lindsay Lohan, he will continue to break laws and abuse all kinds of drugs and nothing much will happen. He'll probably overdose when he's in his 50s, but by then, most of us will barely remember him.

One of my favorite lines ever in a rap song comes from D12. "I slap ni##ers and punch biatches".

I wish the daughter would've said, "I'm crying because I'm ashamed that I actually used to like you. Turns out, you're exactly the whiny little douchebag everyone says you are. Now step off my mom or we're going to have us a problem."

No, you cheap little stool-sample, the only embarrassment is you.

The judge wanted Bieber to appear in an anti-drug public service announcement, but Bieber's lawyer and the prosecutor felt that was "inappropriate" and the judge relented. Prosecutors also wanted Bieber to attend a drug and alcohol education class, but Bieber's people felt that would be like admitting the singer has substance abuse issues. So, he'll instead take an anger management course.

WTF?

Allow me to translate:

The judge wanted Bieber to appear in an anti-drug public service announcement, but Bieber's lawyer gave the prosecutor some front-row tickets for his daughter, the judge a weekend at a day spa. Prosecutors also wanted Bieber to attend a drug and alcohol education class, but Bieber's people felt that a small sack of money would make that problem go away as well. So, he'll instead take an anger management course.

Our justice system means farking nothing. It is as much of a joke as the rest of America is.

Wasn't some country--maybe Italy--where they decided to not lock up any criminals with AIDS? It may have been due to the cost of medical care. Basically you could show up at trial with a doctors note and walk right out. They wound up with gangs of AIDS criminals robbing banks and such.

I'm not saying Bieber has AIDS, but Bieber has AIDS.

Oh well if that's the case, no point for you to follow the laws either, noble citizen. Fly, be free, go forth and rob and assault to your heart's content. We'll just wait here.

If I had a shiat ton of money, there are a slew of laws I wouldn't care to follow. Assault, however, certainly isn't one of them.
