Yup.

I found it amusing that then Anthony Bourdain was there, they made sure to crop the outdoor footage
very well to hide this fact.

DRTFA.
But I'm betting the cops saw a chance to shoot something bigger than a dog and even more docile and got raging erections, and could not draw their weapons fast enough to satisfy their blood lust.

Rope bridle and a bucket of hay and they could have led it anywhere.

My favorite scene on the movie Sakvador is when Belushi and James wood are driving to Central America and Belushi is biatching about how dirty everything is and how there's cattle and dead dogs in the roadways and 'it's like we're in Baltimore'

Unless you're a teenager and his girlfriend going a little fast down a winding road.

I wonder how hard her screams were when the cow was hit and got its head stuck in the sunroof as it's body continued to flop over the car and snap it's neck in the process.

She did have presence of mind apparently, to describe the floppy tongue dangling from its mouth.

No article back-up. Just East Tennessee wackiness.

Rewatching the series - they mention lake perch more than pit beer.  And scrapple, which is from Eastern PA but big in Baltimore among the white population with hillbilly ancestry.

/never heard of scrapple until I lived in Baltimore

Letting it wander around the streets of Baltimore until the police kill it is one way. "She loved those bright lights much more than she loved me," the cow's owner was reported to have said.

I wouldn't call the area sketchy.  Lower middle class, for sure, and very industrial, but it fronts on US 40,
so you're probably good that way (the strip club it shares the parking lot with is alright as far as places
go, so no worry there).

I do like their sandwiches, but I am often in the area visiting friends, so I'm not sure its worth a special
trip (again, unless you're patronizing the nearby Gold Club)

Potato salad is extra, and they have all sorts of condiments availble (I personally like the Tiger sauce,
which is horseradish mayo).

Scrapple may be PA Dutch in origion, but it is fairly popular in the south.

Well.. the "north" south at least, the closer you get to the mason Dixon line.
once you get to south cacalac, the scrapple ratio starts to swing towards the brains and eggs side Of things.

Scrapple is hick as hell.  I had no idea you could get scrapple in Charm City.  Next thing you know, you'll be able to get paunhaus.

My coworkers and I always wish things like this would happen in Towson, just to bring some excitement to the day...

I've been meaning to go to Chaps and try them out, especially now that I live closer to it. I haven't had some good pit beef in awhile.

Also, I always associated scrapple with Delaware. There's a scrapple factory in Bridgeville that I pass on my way to the beaches.

Oh hell I know what's sketchy.....Drive down Liberty Road all the way to U of MD Medical Center or the VA off Pratt...in the middle of the day and think that is worse than places in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Mostly being lazy cause I don't know if it's worth a half an hour drive for a Sammich.
