Read first paragraph, realize that this Walmart must have the most incompetent loss prevention team ever, and closed the link.

Must be hard to run out of a Walmart carrying a television and wearing a full length evening gown and heels.

Identified =/= Arrested

And how is it my little area of the world is constantly on Fark?  I'm not talking about all of Fl, just my little area within.

Novel idea. Lose the remote, just get another TV pretuned to the next channel.

I dunno, getting into an area that usually has a locked door with a TV and then going out through the roof is a pretty significant amount of effort to get around a door-check, gotta give 'em at least a couple points if it takes this much to get around them.

Especially since Wal-Mart loss prevention is probably one guy making like a buck over minimum wage trading out on part-time shifts so they don't have to give 'em benefits.  They're lucky the loss prevention department isn't stealing to make ends meet itself, I doubt they're exactly the Pinkertons.

I worked at Sams Club many moons ago.  The "whole" security team (two loss prevention guys) carried out a long series of theft over the course of several years.  They were both in on it as was (at least) one manager and several random employees.  Big screen TV's, computer systems, printers, and other large & small electronics disappeared out the freight dock, certain bags were overlooked, grocery stock was taken (which reduced what employees had to pay out of pocket for groceries obviously. I doubt they sold much of that stuff). Stock from trucks never got checked in. Cameras were briefly disabled at the right times. Corp discovered it during my relatively short tenure there (I had no involvement and wasn't really aware of it until after the fact).  We lost like 1/4 of our staff overnight once Corp raised an eyebrow and investigated. The manager scheduled the "team" to work the same shifts often and it was quite a slick operation.  I'm sure they were all making several times their wage in the sales of stolen goods.

I believe I read somewhere that Wal Mart corporate expects a loss of 20% of gross sales, that is the tipping point of paying for extra loss prevention.

Maybe they were confused after chatting with a fried who told them to "go pickup a TV and have some fun".

Anyone with information on the duo's whereabouts is asked to call Casselberry Police Sgt. Chris Pamatian at 407-262-7616 ext. 1005.

Means he is not arrested.
Means subby can't read worth a shiat.

Too bad this wasn't local.. looking for a new 39 or 40" to fit in an oak entertainment center... ~(c;

/really have to wonder hth he did this.. someone walks by and asks what he was doing and he just says he was using the TV's as temp shims in a repair job?

Are there any good sales on heels in the area? They should try looking there.

Agree, that was a very obvious done-in-one situation.

it holds up my theory that with "some" people you can't tell the difference between males and males with a wig.

WTP 2: it holds up my theory that with "some" people you can't tell the difference between males and males with a wig.

And there is a thriving cottage industry based on that model in NYC, down by the piers. Even makes the local news sometimes.
