seriously, heat fans are booing their own damn team in their own gym during the damn finals, wow.  they don't deserve any team, let's move the team to Seattle and see if that happens.

Anyone else feel like the Heat would be up in this series if they had scored more points than the Spurs in either of the other two games?

This whole idea that Lebron has to do it by himself and the Heat are old is total BS.

The Heat cruise controlled through the regular season, did well against the west, cruised through the east, but now all of a sudden are too old.

No, the Spurs are a better team, plain and simple.  They were the better team last year too, just choked it up in game 6.

None of this is on LeBron.  The Heat are a decaying team.  Their role players are old and decrepit, they're the oldest team in the league, and the moves they made to get Beasley and Oden didn't pan out at all.  They just ran into a team that's been dreaming about them for an entire year that is historically deep and well coached.

Mike_LowELL: BlueDWarrior: If Pop was that kind of coach he might have been able to challenge the Bulls total win record.

I find it quite amusing that a guy who was a starter for a team that made the second round of the playoffs last year (Belinelli) is getting garbage time in the Finals.

IAmRight: /no one cares if you lose in the early rounds, just ask Jordan

Which is funny, because I can't think of a single time that Jordan ever lost a playoff series.  Wow.  He went undefeated in the playoffs.  Incredible.

He lost in '95 to Orlando, two months after he quit playing baseball. He certainly rectified that shiat in '96.

Pumpernickel bread: I am truly surprised by this.  I thought after Miami stole home court advantage, it was over for the Spurs as they couldn't win a single away game against OKC.  They could still piss it away, but it seems unlikely.

Lebron is never gonna live that carried off the court shiat down and hopefully this will end the Lebron v. Jordan debate once and for all.

Dude, the Spurs clinched their series IN Oklahoma City.  Them winning in Miami shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone.

I'll say it again, Kawhi Leonard for MVP.

Why would you stay to watch your team get killed? And don't give me that "chance of coming back" crap since you've watched the last two games.

Because good fans stay til the end no matter what.

Shakes999: Things ive learned from the playoffs this year: Rick Carisle is the most criminally underrated coach in the league.

That was really one of the big shames of that 2011 Finals. The talk was all about Lebron and the Heat blowing it, and not about how well Rick coached, and the Mavs played.

He got Monta Ellis to take non-dumb shots.  He's a mastermind.

Remember when everybodys narrative was the Heat never lose two in a row in the playoffs?

That narrative was just found hanging in the closet dead of autoderprotic asphyxiation.

Also, can we talk about Duncan as one of the five greatest players ever now?

Put Aron Baynes in so he can outscore Wade. Doesn't need to be long, just has to get a couple buckets.

Palmer Eldritch: OK, so the question now is, who is Finals MVP? Unfortunately, I don't think Pop is eligible. Duncan?

I think you probably have to say Parker right now; he's been the most consistent. The way Leonard has come on though....

IAmRight: ColonelCathcart: Does anyone else enjoy watching the Heat pout?

/C'mon that has to be something! said Wade (pouting)

Just Wade. F*ck that guy. Bosh and LeBron catch all the hell, Wade contributes the least and flops the most and doesn't get anything.

He's a PR genius (and has been over the past 4 years). Right when people are about to turn on him, he always does the exact right thing and deflects it. Mind you, he's a great player (or at least was/can be), but he's found the perfect situation where he can only gain/never lose. Miami can't even hate on him since he's the one who figured out a way to set up this mini-dynasty.

bertor_vidas: These last two games have been painful to watch. Not on account of the Spurs, they've played beautifully. No, the Heat have been miserable to watch. They can't play defense, they turn the ball over seemingly at will, and Wade looks like he's finally lost whatever spring he had left in his knees.

I think it is a case of Heat ran into a team that can play with them and not be intimidated...not quite the Heat's fault, the eastern conference has been weak for a good number of years now.

that and the Spurs are a complete team, which again, isn't needed in the east.

John Buck 41: I find it hard to believe the Heat will lose 2 in a row at home. Looks like it could happen, though. Not that I have a problem with this.

Pretty tough to win when the Spurs are playing basically flawlessly.

IAmRight: I love how everyone acts like Joey Crawford hurts the Spurs.

a) He's the most notorious pro-visiting-team ref in the league
b) He's the most notorious "f*ck superstars* ref in the league
c) He got suspended for the REST OF A SEASON for ejecting Timmy...guys have been ejected for damn near nothing before and the ref never gets suspended

The fact that you're describing a ref as notorious more than 0 times is proof that he shouldn't be reffing this game.
