Guess what, subby? Companies that don't have PR firms do that on their own.

our  Capitalist business friends would never stoop to that level.   they are so full of integrity, and honesty, and principles.

Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with a company editing their Wikipedia entry if they are correcting or expanding on the listing. As long as they are not saying anything untrue, I don't see the issue.  Now if they lie, I have a problem.

I wonder if you add yourself to Wikipedia how long will it take for them to realize you're a nobody.

This is the kind of thing that could make a reader yelp.

A lot of them will just copy and paste their marketing lingo, with a terrible tone. Some delete or attempt to spin negative details. When I read an article, I don't want to see words like, their founder and CEO is "a maverick visionary who went against the industry gain."

You should see the amount of astroturfing the greyhound racing industry is doing recently. It's dying and they are trying to whitewash what happens there and how the dogs are treated.

I got roped into going to a dog track with a group of people by a boyfriend once, long ago. I was bored, took a walk outside (it was over 90 degrees out) and could hear the dogs crying in those boxes, waiting to run.
It was horrible.

Especially since they are shocked if they sit in the box (assuming they are small enough to be able to sit). There is a facebook page as well as a normal forum and you can say all the wonderful things about the track you want. You say the truth and you are banned. We know someone who worked at a couple tracks and there is a slimey underbelly of the races. They aren't kidding that they are not treated well.

I am nerdy enough to occasionally edit it. I would hate to be banned.
